You say, 'Hail, Shang'
Shang says, 'Let me guess, you're back because of Discuit?'
Give Shang the Lilac-Scented Envelope.
Shang shifts, his demeanor changing from anger to joy, 'Oh, I see. So you've talked to Esera? I apologize about my outburst; we see a lot of adventurers who like to show up unannounced and be ruthless towards us. I know what this is about. We've both been keeping an eye on [Discuit] to make sure he doesn't step out of line, but I assume you're someone's... parent?'
You say, 'I'm here at the behest of someone's father.'
Shang says, 'Ah, I bet it's that old guy who's doing all the fishing over near Cabilis. He confronted Discuit while he and I were getting drinks one time. He said something about a locket or a brooch or something. After that, I knew we weren't done with the old man. I tried telling Discuit to just give back the thing, cause keeping it is more trouble than it's worth, but he refused. I think it was a point of pride for him. He loves to collect all sorts of trinkets from his hoard of admirers, not exactly sure why. Maybe he likes to remember the people who gave them to him? Maybe he's got a stealing problem? Who knows? For instance, when he stormed out of here, he dropped this [handkerchief]. If you see him, will you bring it to him along with the envelope you gave me?'
You say, 'Of course. Hand the handkerchief over.'
Shang says, 'Hey, thanks. Here. I wasn't in the mood to head to Luclin anyways. I put both of the pieces in that box for you. It should help keep the rest of your junk from smelling like flowers.' Shang gingerly places the envelope and handkerchief into a box and hands it to you.
You receive a box called Discarded Tokens of Affection.
