My group hunted one of these guys and it dropped a Lore Mgc Nodrop item called Power of Water.

I just got this whip on Vazaelle off a normal ravener (right by the hungered ravener spawn to east of library) ... and now it has UNLIMITED CHARGES OF LEVITATE!!!!

Aye, I agree. I was with this warrior when the whip dropped. I had won the spirit tome earlier in our battles, and thus the warrior was awarded this whip. Low and behold, it has clickable levi. Unlimited charges, must be equiped to activate. We were all happily suprised by this. This was looted only hours before the scheduled patch (June 12, 2002). I came here to see what our friend had won. Apparently this is a new addition to the item. Which goes along with none of the group having heard of such an item. Kudos and Gratz to Meffwin. All you warriors out there snatch them up while they last.

Just fought here last night, exp is awesome, and even the chance encounter of loot is worth the difficulty in getting it. At any rate, every last regular Ravener (ie, not hungered, famished, etc.) we encountered conned even to me at lvl 32. Might have been just a fluke seeing no blues, but the max level is not 31. And damn to they bite hard.

This whip is not bard only. Its melee class only like all other whips. We looted one last night. It drops from a gorged ravener. Rare ravener spawn here in kaesora.
It's bard, rogue and warrior only.
