My new ranger found out a little while ago that she's immune to Snare spells. Also, don't think anybody's mentioned that she does stuns.

I am pretty new to the game (played for a month a few years ago), and can confirm she is a really easy solo for 5 wizard. Not twinked (obviously). No buffs except the Gloomingdeep Guard buff you get from the spells guy (Rytan?) in the revolt camp, and the level 1 Minor Shielding Buff.
Easy to pull with no adds, ended w/ 40% HP and 22% Mana, just cast Blast of Cold over and over. Should not need a group at all, I assume this could be done almost as easily with a 4 wizard, and less HP left over.

Max hit was 16 on a level 4 monk, approx. 200hp, and casted Gloom Poison, a damage over time spell, which did 3 damage every time it went off.

Queen Gloomfang has 200 hitpoints, I know its not all that important just FIgured I would Mention it...
my parse shows her dead with 192.

Every character should be able to kill her at lvl 7 solo. My shammy who wasnt twinked and only self buffed was easily able to kill her. She only tries to poison me with Gloom Poison and dont hit me very often.

i got her killed (8 shammy). went for the chest, and she re-popped less than 2 minutes later.

Killed this spider and when it died a chest popped. In the chest was a spider venom sack. 2nd time killed no chest.
Actually, the chest spawns next to the Queen, and quite independently of her - same as with the Overlord's War Chest.
Cannot be stunned. =O

i kill her with my 8th enchanter ez my pet can kill her almost solo along with the tamer down the hill there

Killed a few times with both my necro and bard, was easy, hits about 11 max and can poison, but easy. drops no good stuff, only what other spiders would drop. Dont forget the chest behind her
