Hand of the Maestro  

according to this post https://everquest.allakhazam.com/wiki/EQ:Respawn_Timers the respawn timer of hand of maestro is 12 hours, I just sat my rear end at it's spawn point for 12 hours and some change no maestro.

I was killing the 5 mobs in the hall in turn while waiting for the hand to spawn. When I killed the hand I waited around to see if the mob that people say is the "PH" or the other mobs spawned nexted.
It was the mob people refer to as the "PH" that spawned at the piano so it wasn't a PH for the hand as it should have been the mother mobs in the building that spawned. The "PH" mob spawned ontime in the 30 min spawn cycle.

I am a 60 warrior 10k hps plus cleric merc. I zoned in cleared 6 mobs on my way to the piano. So he is not far from zone in. Took maybe 10 mins to get to him. When I opened door to his room he is to the right. there was a mob at the bottom of the steps in front of the piano. and the Hand of Maestro was up on top next to the piano. I killed both mobs. They have a ton of hps for my level i was able to kill them at the same time with ease. Just takes a few, merc cleric keeps up np. He dropped the hand first kill. So I was probably lucky. I'm at the spawn spot for this pita now. I have killed the PH 3 times now and waited exactly 30 minutes for each spawn. No Hand yet, but I have lots of coffee :)

Hey, I've killed the DE in front of the piana to the right as you go in the door five times now...but no HoMaestro? Is there something I'm missing here? Like maybe I have to do a little boogey or something?
Any help would be appreciated.

Since no one is smart enough to post what people need to know, I'll post my experience with this mob. He spawns at the piano to the right of the enterance of the building Maestro of Rancor is at. Hand spawns from the single mob that is by the piano, and has roughly a 20 min respawn timer. Killed the mob at the camp and then spawned the Hand immediatly after. Killed him with a 76 bst and healer merc with no problems. The hand went down in under 30 sec. and ran at 20% health.

Solo'd him today with a 78 ranger, 340ish AAs. He does summon and is very spell resistant (couldn't get a DD to hit until he was <20%). But haste pot and self heal once was able to melee him ok. He does run $ 20%.

He was laying dead in the zone at approximately 630 pm Eastern time on July 16th.

took him down in about 2 minutes with a cleric mob helpin it.... 68 bst(me) 9.8k hp and 7.2k mana 59 clercic and 59 war i have 247 magic resist and his lifetap land once on about 10 tries

As I recall, way back when. after you killed Maestro the hand spawned.
Is this still the same, or does Hand of the Maestro is a reperate spawn now?????????

Duoed with 70RNG (about 8600hp with Virtue/self buffs, 300AA) and 65CLR.

He walked BACK into the church towards the Maestro of Rancor spawn when he got to 18pct health, agroing the 2 spawns near the door. Fight was still relatively simple - rooted off the adds, kept nuking/main dps on Hand until it went down, then was just straight dismembering the adds.

Max hit was 542, didn't rampage that often. Cleric just used potions for HoT's for herself, kept using Holy Elixir on me and nuking the stuffing out of Mr. Hand.

Didn't bother using Earthcaller to slow.

I'm fairly ghetto in gear (5900 mana), but this was a reasonably easy fight. I did pop mend companion during the fight.

Spawn time looks to be 3 days.

Can we get some useful info on spawn time. Does anyone know what it is?

2-boxed 66 DRU/BL combo ornate/baz VTish gear lvl reasonably buffed. DRU has 200+ aas and ft15, clairvoiyance.

Kinda rough, had to root off an add to get it off healer. Once add was managed it was a pretty routine fight. Very high MR never got him slowed or snared. Chased him down the block and nuked him down with druid. Finished fight with 40m.

Very fun! Had me shaking a little, but maybe I just remember how hate used to be...

Was just messing around in Hate and had 2,65 Mag's with Low AA's and myself a well equipt Enchanter and took down the Hand with ease, He is very MR and didnt get Hand slowed but I was able to tank him using Upraor and AR and my ER he seems to be able to have FR nukes land on him, both Mags pets had Lay hands up, wasnt even a close fight and I only was self buffed
