I went to Everfrost, set up near the statue, slaughtered anything that pathed by. never popped. Next day I decided to run around and just kill orcs, all orcs, in the eastern part of the zone. any orc east of the North-South line drawn through the giant statue. After killing 10 orcs, Granin popped. By the time I tracked him down, a snow leopard had him to 60% already. My recommendation is to kill everything and use a tracker and be fast.

This NPC spawns near the giant statue and the tower in Everfrost. Be careful though, if the Orcs wandering the area see him they will kill him, so you have to be quick when he pops.
