Took him out with a 67 Necro in defiant gear with 100aas, the 63 rogue skele, and a Cleric Merc. Hits fast for 800 max, and has a lot of hp. Can't be snared or rooted. Got it down to 5% before I went oom, but my dots kept ticking and he died. I had to use a lot of dd because I couldn't snare, and had to tap a good deal to stay on top of things. Runs maybe a little slower then I do with run 3. Got the sleeves, which is a bummer.
Con'd light blue to me, so the guy who insists it must be 69 is clearly wrong.
My ranger soloed it and got the cloak to drop, which was nice. Had to use 2x Celestial Healing X, and a couple of self cast heals to stay up, used weapon shield also. Pulled it back to area of priests of discord to avoid adds and to give me an escape route.
Wasn't too hard, though my adrenaline was flowing lol
Killed him today as a 75 ranger. The fight wasn't too hard, but this guy isn't a pushover either. I had to use heal potions, and I popped steadfast servant before the fight. At one point he had me down to 30 percent health, so I popped weapon shield disc and healed myself up. His max hit was for around 1k but didn't hit for that often. He dropped the arms for me. All in all I was suprised to see him up as this is the final evolution form of the murkglider devourer, and the newborn version normally dies as soon as it spawns.
This mob is not level 56. It's light blue to 75 and I would dare to guess it's about level 69.
My level 75 partially anguish-geared bard friend decided to try picking on this slimebucket tonight, and granted he probably was not well prepared, thinking it to be gimp, died to it. I volunteered (75 wizard, 10khp with tena, most defensive AAs) to go kill it myself. I take a tank-approach to most light blues, and to avoid adds, did the same with this guy. I figured out quick it was a rather tactless plan because its max hit was 9 points off of 1,000. Rather disturbing, for being a DS mob.
Popped a heal potion at 90% life, and glad I did - it's the only thing that saved my life. One fully resisted spell (Flashfires, -50 fire resist) sealed my faith in that, since I was at 3% life when I finally killed it. Keep in mind however that I was chain-casting Flashfires and Cloudburst Strike both which have a 25% chance to deal 900 damage to me... in exchange for being instant and un-interruptable.
Probably an easy solo kill with certain decently-geared classes and some tact but beware, it's harder than it looks.
Summons: Yep Flurry/Ramp/Enrage: Nope Snarable/Mezzable: Couldn't say but I would bet Yep Smelly/Pain In The ***: Yep
Happy huntin', I hoof it through DS a lot and rarely see him up. Nice twink loot. $$
Tried him with a 71 sk. Was lb to me. Max hit of 861. Kept 3 dots on him till he hit 50% then tap tanked him down. Used one heal Pot. Ended with 5% mana and 40 health he he. long fight, but didn't have to burn harmtouch. Leechcurse disc would have made it easier after 50% but i just tapped him.
