He apparently also spawns in the serpent and beetle group of mobs just to the north of the crater. Last night he was up when I ported to the zone. Didn't get the loc, sorry.

Might be a greater also, but not only those, I found it up over by the wyvern and pyrebeaks.
AFTER I killed the greater for 2 hours the day before. No it was not up when I was killing the greater but evidently someone spawned it.

Saw him at loc 1000, 680, which is west / northwest of center
Tank and spank. 91 air pet with decent Pet Focus was able to tank it and not drop below 50%.. used 2 cleric mercs though, better safe than sorry.

Started to farm this mob cause honestly prolly one of the easiest named in the zone.......our situation....96 sk (7.2k ac 3.4K AA) tanked while our J5 tank handled the add... fight took 3 minutes.....just way to easy and it went this way for about to more time within the hour

96 SK (RoF T1 group gear) and J5 Healer merc. Max hit was 13322. I had 81K HP buffed, 7200 AC & 3788 AA. .
Spawns at multiple points--any greater ivyscale or greater slatescale can be a place holder.
