Also one of the classic underconns in EQ history.
Another being Dorn in what was once North Ro.

16 iksar monk solo'd with skinspike/alacrity/temp/and the healing potion thing. Fairly easy, did him at Crush at the same time,with his royal guard too.
d'vinn con'd yellow,crush dark blue and royal guard also dark blue. Fun fight, i remember not being able to take him on my 30 bard lol

I don't believe for a minute that D'Vinn is only lvl 18-22. That's ridiculous. But I will say that he is a relatively easy solo around level 30. When my pally was at 30 or so, I soloed him easily. No special strategy or anything.

A lvl 26 pally and a lvl 25 warrior (me)could both solo Crush, so we decided to try DVinn. The fight did not go so well We both attacked him, the pally got to about 20% life and backed off and let me take the beating. Even with the pally using lay hands and the warrior geting below 30% life we only got DVinn to about 50% life and ended up jumping out of the tower window to the zone.

I'll admit it like everyone else. I hate Ambassador D'vinn! I hate him in the morning on my way to work. I hate him in the evening when I'm coming home to play. But as a 25th Level Rogue he is everything I aspired to be when training in Crushbone. Two nights ago I went back to prove to my idol that he was obsolete and I could whoomp him. But silly me did not think "Hey mebbe their's a Fabled Ambassador D'vinn" a guildmate and I had swept the throne room and played whomp Emperor Crush a few times including Fabled (Boy some legends just aren't what their cracked up to be). Anyways the guildmate cleric had to leave but she buffed me up, healed me and tucked me into bed (yeh!). And as I'm sitting their waiting on my rendevous with good ole D'vinn I get popped for around 100 Damage. And as I'm standing with a fealing of WTF I turn to see Fabled D'vinn and his fist inbound to put a hurt on me again. Sadly I was only able to drop him 78% before finding the middle window of the tower WILL let a full grown Vah Shir out if he has enough reason. And busted out to the zone screaming for people to get out of my way. Well, I guess I got D'vinn as an idol again til level 35. But for damn sure today when server's come back online regular D'vinn and I are gonna have a ka-powy chat!

For some reason, this guy cons apprehensive to me. I'm a Half-Elf Bard from Kelethin, and Dragoons are all scowling. I worship Veeshan. Anyone have any idea why I'm not KoS to him?

Just solo'd this guy with my 32 druid, super fast and easy, espically with getting the dagger. He hits, somtimes double, in the low 40's. Dunno what he backstabs for, I just rooted him a nuked away.


Loot wise, I got the dirk, but he also dropped Words of Quickening, has anyone seen him drop this before? Why isn't it listed?

I was hunting Orc Legionaires in the heart of Crushbone today with my 15th level Barbarian Warrior in search of some Crushbone shoulder pads for a friend when I also locked horns with the Ambassador himself and, I must agree with the majority about the fact that Ambassador Dvinn is extremly lethal.
My tale of woe began when I found a legionaire then pulled him to the entrance of Crushbone to finish him off. I had the orc down to 45% while I was holding my own at 95%, then from out of nowhere Dvinn appeared and quickly went to work on me as I watched my bubbles evaporate before me!! It took him eight swipes to finish me. After reading everbody else's postings about this menace, I felt I've undergone a right of passage. He's a good one to cut your teeth on!!

my bard is lvl 15 atm i went in tr that easter sunday, he did not pop once i was there for like 4 hours so i thibk he went back to neriak to see the trolls and to see his family

before i left crushbone, i was killed by this creep about 20 times.....later i came back with my new high lvl monk and trashed him and all of his little orc pals.
