Defend the robot, killing any that are in it's path. If it gets too far from you it will warn you that you are too far. If you do not close the range quickly it will reset. It will proceed to a spot just inside the gate where it will stop, saying "Not enough energy. Returning to matrix!" and the quest will update. Return to the camp to talk to the box again.
