A recently coined hybrid term indicating a blending of PvP (Player vs. Player) and PvE (Player vs. Environment).

While some may question the wisdom of trying to fully integrate the PvP and PvE play-styles, a number of game designers seem eager to try to do just that.

Warhammer Online called this concept RvRvE, for Realm vs. Realm vs. Environment.
