What is the respawn time of him inside the maze ? Started the quest but killed him by accident. Went back to spawn point and waited about half an hour, nothing. Figured maybe you have to zone out for reset, so did so. Came back an hour later, zoned in. Still nothing. Searched the whole maze, killed all the mobs, another hour later, still not up. Is the version of him inside the maze on somekind of silly 7 day timer ?
My guild just complete the hedge event with 2 groups. We did it with 3 tanks(2 war, 1sk), 4 healers(2 clr,1 dru, 1 shm), 2 chanters, a monk and a magician. We used everything listed in this forum. Disbanded pets before hailing. It worked perfect.

Did the hedge maze for the first time last night. For some reason, raid leader thought that the 65 bard could handle mezing as well as a chanter, so we went with it.. Had a kinda bad pull, but survived it. In group, we had a 60 druid and myself, a 56 druid. If chanter mez worked, would Harmony of Nature, the druid mez? I tried it, keeping my heals up and one nuke. Heh, worked on all creatures in the maze, except for the construct and Thelin, as he is human, not animal. Just something for druids to consider, keep harmony up and help keep the adds asleep. I had to cast one heal (I was backup healer for group to the higher druid. I think he cast heal 4 times.) So, I just cycled thru the MOBs and harmonied them while sitting on my drog. A few resisted tword the end, but it stuck on most.
We attempted this quest last night, but had a near-total party wipe on the encounter right before the construct. I happened to be one of 3 people left alive. Thank god for FD =\
After successfully completing the PoN hedge raid event last night, individuals began hailing Thelin, thus receiving their flags & being ported out of the hedge. However, when toons with pets hailed, their pets began to ATTACK Thelin as soon as he ported them out. Thelin agroed, & died to a rogue pet. Five of us were left WITHOUT flags, & a /petition just produced the typical 'sorry, can't do anything' response.
Be warned: KILL ALL PETS before starting to hail flag mobs.
if you do pre-flag second would that ruin it. I got in on another person pre-flag does that mess me up. I hailed thelin in hedge first then I did pre-flag is what I am saying.
I have not seen this tid bit of info posted anywhere while looking for it myself. I had wondered what the reset time on this event was. So in case anyone else looks here trying to find out, it can be done one right after another.We did two in a row, and almost went for a third run. (switching peeps out of course). The only classes i had to ensure were in the raid was a chanter, cleric, and shammy. A bard can be of significant help. A few weeks back , my guild attmpted this, and had nothing but problems. One member went LD before we enterd, so we went in one short. As we progressed thru the hedge, a ranger and one of two chanters became stuck in the hedge. DONT touch the walls!!!! As they stayed hung up in the bush, we had to keep following Thelin. At the end, when the Construct popped, our warrior , while tanking, became stuck in the bush. So technically, we were down to 14 people by the last fight. Success was ours however. So fair warning to all. Don't touch the hedges!! (altho /rewind did save a couple folks from being stuck)
Took almost 30 minutes - totally immune to melee damage. The clerics and the pets got this kill. We ported into the maze and one person got left behind so we went back out to try to get them in and got the "I have already ported 18 people in" message so we killed him. Bloody long fight. hehe
what flag do you need to have before he will talk to you that would be really nice to know seeing as how no one has said what flag you need and also how would i go about getting this flag so i can go into the maze
So there are bloodravens that spawn during the battle? would a druid b able to charm em with Call O Karana or are they too high lvl? I think this would really help out the chanters and add some nice damage on the mobs (and if u need to kill the bloodraven as well then HEY u can take your sweet time 8D
What flag do you need to talk to him? I am flagged for pov and pos and when i hail him i get this message : Thelin Poxbourne Screams loudly, and then falls asleep again.
You need the flag from the erudite female beside ELDER Poxbourne in PoT, not far from the PoN port in. Will be a building with rocks as stairs, climb up, run to the room, look left and there she will be with Poxbourne on the floor. Hail her and follow her dialogue & you will get a Character Flag. Zap to PoN, find Thelin, talk to him & port you & your grp to the hedge maze.
alright i will break down our successful run. btw there was not enough info on this:
1. get 17 of your closest friends together 2. get pre flagged 3. meet at hedge 4. build groups. I made 3 well rounded groups with 3 distinctive group leaders, make up was: MT, cleric, crowd control, dps, dps, utility. I think the ley to this battle is to have the teams balanced. 5. buff up 6. gather round Thelin and each team leader initiates the port in 7. Raid leader makes sure all group leaders have their teams ported into the same maze, then initiates the quest 8. follow thelin around 9. Thelin wanders and the battles go like this: - enters larger rectangular room with one Nightstalker in it, MT rushes in and starts battle, when mob dies all but the MTs should follow Thelin into one corner of the room, the MTs stay at the dead mob. When Thelin reachs the corner, 2 mobs pop near original spot of the nightstalker. Split and kill. When done Thelin moves on. he CAN actually leave earlier once the mob he attck dies if he is not within aggro range of another mob. At this time someone needs to get his attention and have crowd control keep him there. Once all mobs are done, break mez and have him mem blurred. He will continue on his trek. - he will roam then enter another "room" and again a nightstalker will be present. repeat above except this time 3 (three) mobs will spawn. This is repeat itself 4 more times, with 4, then 5 then 6 and finally 7 (yes seven) adds at the same time. - the keys to beating the 5, 6 or 7 add occasions are: only MTs be near the spawn spot of the mobs, AoE slow and crowd control able to mez mobs 59+ (means bards must have their level 62 mez). With Aoe slow it puts pressure on the healers to keep their shamans and their MTs alive, cleric can do this by timing a HoT on the shaman before the stationary mob is killed and the adds spawn. Then the 3 group MTs must split properly and seperate the mobs so the crowd control folks and work their magic. It is tricky and you may lose folks. - if you lose someone, mez Thelin, rez the people and let them med up. If you wait too long you will get the stationary to repop, but no adds this time, be warned. - we got some random birds (bloodthirsty raven) along his route but these are just like regular pats, kill and move on 10. When you have gone thru the 6 unique battles with adds it is time for the boss mob. The Construct of nightmares is slowable, hits for up to 1100 and has in the range of 200k and 300k total hps. Key to this battle is to allow your MT to get aggro, we messed this up a bit with folks engaging right away (excited folks), but if done properly this will allow the MT to position the mob and avoid one of 4 possible adds in the big room he is in (we ended up getting one adds) The fact that he is slowable means i was able to be the sole CH healer on the MT the entire 9 minute long battle and finish with 60m (kei, 62lvl bard song, ft1, horse and BAotR with mod rods) 11. Loot the Construct of all his goodies, hand broken shard into Thelin, receive the dagger of Thelin back and then Thelin will move to face the now spawned untargetable Terris Thule. They do a little play, she de pops, you hail him, poof! flag and teleport out of maze back to hedge.

The fights take place in the larger cubed areas. 1 spawn will be up at first. When killed, it spawn 3,4,5,6 diffrent mobs all at once, MEZ the mothers,let the MT select one and wait till the assist is called. Thelin does indeed walk away , MEZ and Blur. Right up till you see the fontain and no more after that. Keep him Mezed till you kill the 3 blood ravens that are in the corners. After the Mez wares off he walks into the fontian and the mob pops at the front right at the fontain. To get flaged you have to kill the A Conctruct of nightmares and he is 1 ugly mob, the Main tank walts him around the fountain and keeps Thelin in back of the mob so he doesn't die from rampage. He drops this shard that you hand back in to Thelin, it then spawns a floating image of Terris. You then hail Thelin and you get flaged and ported to the outside edge where you started. Several nice items droped and 2 parchments.
There is the copy outside the Maze, who you talk to to start the maze event, and there is a Thelin in each of the mazes. There are two or three copies of the maze.
The Thelin outside the hedge maze is lower level than the one inside. The one inside is thankfully just high enough level to be able to withstand a couple hits from the monsters which appear to torment him as you help him get his dagger.
This quest is currently broken on Rodcet Nife. We had flagged people hail him and say the correct text and they'd appear in the maze, but he never followed. So we killed him. Took us about 20 minutes. Couldn't fight normally. He's immune to spells and only pets could do damage, but he definitely deserved it and it was fun. I highly recommend it for a good time.
during the maze walkthrough, you can either let him melee or mez him then mem blur. He does tend to walk off before some of the waves are done so you'll probably have to do the latter. He max punches for 329. During our fight against the Construct of nightmares, I parsed him for 19,419 worth of damage for a DPS of 70.61. The three groups did 177k worth of melee damage and I'm guessing the casters did around 70-80k worth of nukes and dots so you're looking at under 300k hp for the boss fight.
