Actually you're referring to the Golden Dragonlinked Chestguard (not the Golden Linked Chestguard). The rewards for this raid are looted form a chest that spawns after she dies, not from the corpse itself. There is a link to that chest (and the known rewards) in the text above.
"Following Kessdona's death, a chest spawns with loot." The word chest is the link.
It's been quite awhile since I last did Kessdona, and I just can't see myself trying to parse a 640MB logfile for her fight info, so...does she, or does she not, also have a reflective phase? IE, at some point or another, are spells rebounding upon their caster(s)?

Chlorine Cloud easily cureable by resplendant cure 3. The only problem is that it has a tiny Z axis but as long as the group is close to the cleric, you can remove Chlorine Could at least a few times per fight.
During second phase, no Guardians became depleted, So Kess just cycled from 79-76%. If we pulled a guardian (they were targetable) and killed, the other 3 despawned and Kess went to 100%.
This fight is currently semi-bugged. As the post below explains, there are NPCs that heal Kessdona during the fight. If you damage Kessdona too fast, the healing NPCs can't do their jobs -- apparently they are hardcoded as to how fast they heal. If you kill Kessdona before the NPCs all are depleted, then Kessdona respawns and the script is broken.
If your guild is Anguish flagged you probably do enough DPS to break this encounter. Tell your melle folks to switch in lower end weapons and have your casters dial back the damage.
She's part of the raid instance "Kessdona's Perch" available at the raid recruiter of your DoN camp. I will post a screenshot of that instance's steps next time we do this =)
Since peeps seem to only post retarded stuff on these mobs. Ill post some actual useful information.
Neways, this mob, is a lot like rikkukin. However, she only does directional aoe frontal and it goes off a lot more. Position clerics accordingly. Hits for 3kish, quad. Also does Aoe for 2kish dmg and 850 per tick. The fight is a lot more complex then rikkukin. As you fight kessdona their are 6 golems around her. As you hurt kess one of the golems drains its hp into kessdonas, at 10% of its life the golem becomes a normal mob and attacks. Kill it, and continue hammering on kessdona till all 6 golems are activated and dead. This takes a while and aoe heals are a must. Once all 6 golems are dead 4 more will spawn. One of these 4 are trackable. This is the one u must kil.. Once it is dead u get about 20 seconds of solid dps on kessdona. Then they respawn and u gotta kill the right one again(they have like 30k hp and die fast). Rinse and repeat and kessdona dies. Easy fight.
That's basically the strat we've used on our (so far only) Kessdona kill. The thing to bear in mind is that this is a long fight, due to all of the healing. People need to conserve their strength and avoid senseless deaths early on.
I know that is something for almost any fight, but it's especially true in a fight like this, where you'll be fighting a good 10 to 15 minutes or more (I didn't time it) as you wear down the 6 Guardians and then have to kill the new Golem repeatedly to be allowed to hurt Kess.
