Jimble Woodentoe  

This guy was dubiosly to my Gnome Necromancer. I doesnt think at this time he would be on Rivervale faction, because im KoS to Guardians of the Vale and never do faction work with them.

I am a wood elf bard. I have nothing against Jimble, but I like to kill him. dont ask why. maybe I have a secret hatred towards halflings. maybe I am a bad person. maybe he looked at me funny. I dont know, but all I have to say is thes. DEATH TO THE ONE WHO IS JIMBLE! La resistance!

This guy really p1$$e$ me off. I had my DE necro hunting in EC, and of course, i couldn't walk along the path, i could only stay off because of this fcker. He killed my necro many atimes that he saw me, and i swore i would take revenge. when i got back in the zone i even shouted out Damm that jimble woodentoe! You attac me again and again, but soon we will finally meet in a REAL duel, and you will not be so fortunate. So i got my necro to lvl 12 and went and let my skellie chop his brains out. Revenge doesn't get much sweeter than that.

I agree completely with mduble. My DE SK got killed like 5 times by him, several times during corpse recovery. This guy's one evil *******... He'd be KoS to me when I'm low level, leave me alone when I was slightly higher lvl (~15), but attack me if I'm naked at the slightly higher lvl (after losing corpse in Highhold). What a f*cking *******! I kick his *** every single time I see him now.

I am now a level 16 Dark Elf Necro. When i was level 6 to 10 this guy would kick my ***. I would Die then try to find my body but i would find him instead. So when i hit level 12 i hunted him down. I must of killed this guy like 30 times now. So now my vengence is done i still kill him because i like to give my pet the weapon. I always leave the wood. So for Dark elfs he will KOS your *** if youyr not high enough. If need help with him please give me a tell when im in ec and i am always glad to kill him.

ok i killed him myself and the faction hits are: storm reapers, mayor gubbin, merchants of rivervale. The factions go up with the unkempt druids.

O.k. my toon on eq is a paladin, so I won't do the quest if I have to jump a traveler like that. Here is what I know. In the east freeport tunnels under the warehouse which is under the bar with the brewing barrel (Not the one you walk through to get to the docks).....serious run on sentence left in a fragment--oh well.
----Talk to Tovan Tenlah in the tunnels. He gives you a note to Verona Rankin, who is right around the corner. She gives you a box to make rogue armor? in. This is one pound heavier than a bag but it holds giant--so worth keeping in the bank for giant items:)
-----If you talk to Tovan Tenlah some more he will give you a bent card to give to Rigg Nostra outside of the Southern gates of East Freeport (If you take the tunnel and go through the secret passage in the wall you will be right at him) IF YOU DON"T KNOW THE TUNNELS BE CAREFUL--ONE EVIL DUDE WAS KOS TO ME TO THE NORTH OF THE FRIENDLY NPC'S AND THE DROWNED CITIZEN'S ARE IN A WATER PIT (THAT YOU CAN WORK AROUND THE RIM) TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE TUNNELS--IF YOU ZONE INTO WEST FP YOU HAVE MISSED THE SECRET PASSAGE TO RIGG NOSTRA---Anyway Rigg is the one who explains about the crate of hardwood pick handles and the npc whose page this is as well as another dwarf npc inside the town who has a crate of pick heads. He says "convince" them to cough up the pick components, not kill them. I am not sure how to get the halfling to talk to me. He says a blurb about hardwood shafts for fletching but no luck in getting him to say more...little duder just keeps on truckin'---he is certainly not rare though--i have seen him at least 3 or 4 times today walking down the path in ec---he must just walk to the freeport end and repop at the other end of east commons as soon as he reaches the zone and start walking down the path again.

Also in tunnels nearby where Tovan Tenlah who gave me the bent card to give to Rigg Nostra is a dark elf, Nestral TGaza. Hail her and say, "I can go to Janam and Rebby's" Take the note to Rebby in the Theatre of the tranquil in west fp and he will give you a Rebby's rat wiskers to return to her.
Other nearby Npc's in the tunnels are a dwarf,Harkin Dustford, and human, Beur Tenlah, who wants a dwarven ale. This prompts a story line from the dwarf or you can just hail the dwarf and say, "What message". --sometimes you have to hail him again as i said the same thing but didn't get a response at first. He give you a letter to take to Janan in West Freeport at theater of the the tranquil who is standing right beside Rebby. In the next room where Verona Rankin is there is a halfling named Gren Frikniller--say. "Who is your sister" He gives you a nice speach and a letter to give to his sister, Filia? Frickniller who is in the market square in North Freeport along the wall to the right of the entrance if you are facing the bank at the other end of the market.
Each of these letters gets a response and all three of these quest can be repeated for faction..I dunno how much--I have done it 3 or 4 times and have enjoyed exploring the tunnels with a character under level 10 who doesn't loose much or any exp if he runs up on kos mob. As I said before there are at least two such mobs (to good races) in that set of tunnels, the 3 drowned citizens in the water pit and some dark elf in the evil magic users part of the tunnel. Have fun--I hope this makes sense--I pieced it together from other places and I have actually done the 3 letter and return letter quest today at least twice.
Still don't want to kill that halfling though--If anyone figures out a peaceful solution to getting the hardwood pick handles please let me know.:)

my friend just looted one in of those stacks of wood, and asked me to come check it out here, was hoping for a little more. Is this little guy one of the new mobs in zone maybe, and that's why no one knows what to do with his drops?

He dropped a tarnished short sword (seen in his hand) and a bundle of hardwood staves. Took faction hits for Storm Reapers, Mayor Gubbin, and Merchants of Rivervale. Faction increase for Unkempt Druids. 3 silver, 9 copper.

What faction is this little Halfling on? My SK is KoS to him, but she's only dubious to most of the Halflings in Nektolus now due to some serious orc hunting. I was just wondering if anyone knew his faction and all. Thanks.
