So I'm wandering around minding my buisness as I frolick and slaughter random critters, when he comes up behind me and starts to attack my kill. Ok, it happens, NP. Right? Until he does it again a few minutes later.

42 Troll SK here -- killed him last night while wandering the hills. Hits fast, but relatively low MR. Dark + Fear a few times left me one health bubble down. Pretty easy kill overall.

I got the MR version then... Heat Blood and Heart Flutter stuck easy, but Engulfing Darkness and Fear were resisted 3-4x each. FD'd at 1 bubble and he had 2 left. He hit for 113 max.

No as a newbie your not kos unless your Erudite,Dark elf,Orge,Troll,Iskar.If your pet class go and Raiders and bandits until you get dubious faction with the guards.Dont kill Corrupt Guards unless you don`t plan on useing Qeynos.There is Corrupt Guard that hits for 475+ each hit and he attacks and laughs as you must die real fast even high lvls 55+ i have seen fleeing to zone from this guy.

Dont do any newbie quests that require bad guard faction uneless you want to get killed as a low lvl newbie.I was able get allied faction with goos guards and indifferent faction with corrupt evil qeynos guards.If you like going into qeynos like me and making 400 plat aday on quest related npcs stay away from ruining your faction.Kill Gnolls in area until you get dubious if your kos class or kill until allied for good guards of Qeynos.If you want to raise corrupt guard faction go into Highhold keep or pass and buy Goblin Ears or Orc hides be prepared to pay 3 to 5 plat per goblin ears if you want raise faction fast with corrupt guards.Note kos classes are not kos by evil qeynos guards,but are kos to good guards.Once more kill about 50 to 100 gnolls depending how kos you are and your good to without being attacked by guards.remember though there is plenty of npcs that will slay you in qeynos hills area so hunt at your own risk.Holly Windstalker is one npc that duel wields swords and will chop in half kos necros,troll,oregs,iskars hehe.If your any class like dark elf,troll,orge,iskar be prepared to kill 1,000s get out of kos.Erudite necros kill any gnolls that move and get out of kos faction pretty easy like in 3 hrs tops real game time.

this guy is a real POS i was campin pyzjn one day and usin sense the dead hopefully to pick up her pet but mostly skeles and that stupid necro forgot his name but is indiff to me so i thought i shouldnt kill him, bam guard leopold resisted almost everything finally 5th try cascading darkness landed the fear failed 2x was so close to killing this pos and then of course some stupid npc druid walked up and guess what started attacking my pet and killed it, well she got fear to , but i couldnt land one more spell on this guy had to fd then i had to zone out caus he would aggro on me from then on from miles away if i wasnt fded, i will get my revenge and it will be so so so sweet.

Tried to kill him the other night while camping pyzjin. He resisted 4 dooming darknesses and 1 fear, so I decided FD was my best option. 48 necro, so he's really low blue to me.

I was killing a wisp when all of a sudden he starts whacking me for 94 pts. a shot. I didn't dare fight back for fear of faction. Watch out around him if you are hunting wisps.
If i got what you're asking straight, sometimes he will. It depends on what your race/class/diety combination is and what faction you've got from killing stuff and doing other quests.
