65 Al`kabor Ranger helping a buddy get his Helm of the Tracker, easy solo..we don't get Vet AA's or heal pots...just buffed up and whooped it's butt. Epic slow helps, too =)

Just soloed him tonight with my 61 ranger. I used the vet ability to max all stats and brought a bunch of those new potions. I used melee weapons instead of a bow. Just went toe to toe with him using Swarmcaller until it proced. Then I switched to my regular weapons. Had to use a haste potion and had temp. Burned one healing potion and weapon shield ability. Finished the fight with about 30% health.
As far as where he is located, if you come out of Kael, he straight ahead by a number of other giants. Had to harmony just one of them that was a bit too close to him.
On the relatively new Al'Kabor Mac server - was taken down by myself Kaboom - Mage lvl 63, my cleric (2-boxed) lvl 51 and Ranger lvl 61. Fight was easy! Ranger pulled trash mobs(gaurds) at entrance to WL, ranger solo pulled overseer to Kael Entrance. 61 Air pet tanked him, with three CHs from Cleric (probably didn't need more than one if I had nuked more). As it was only nuked for 3khps and ranger worked bow with AM1, noone got summoned, probably didn't nuke until 50%. Would estimate he has 15-20khps.
Soloed today by 66 druid. DC on unicorn, buffed up. pulled with ensnare (landed first time)..fight lasted about 5 mins..healed pet maybe 5-6 times. not too bad.
A 65 Necro from my guild just soloed him. Pet never dropped past 70% and his mana never below 80% Same story as everyone else, Enraged, ran at 10%, all spells land except root/snare.
Soloed by a 63 ranger EQ/AM3. I had to slow him twice with swarmy. Thank god you are able to hit them with your bow while staying in melee range, popped Trushot disc and Weaponshield later on to heal during the fight. Was a REAL close fight, he had me to 300HP at one point . . . got him though. Make sure to bring a healer for this one.
duo'd him with a 65 ranger (myself) 5400 hp and a 65 druid for heals. harmonied the rest of the giants, pulled him with a snare, couple of swings he was slowed with a swarmcaller. hits like a girl. hit me between 50 and 150ish i guess. druid ch'd me like once or twice and basically said the hell with it and burned him down. he didnt even have a chance to enrage
Yes it is MQable. The person receiving the helm of the tracker must have at least one of the four heads, and must turn it in last. You could feasibly use four different folks for this turnin and the last one turning in gets the prize.

There is one flaw in this idea. If this is like many other quests that are Multiquestable, it is possible that someone in the past turned in one or more heads, without triggering the reward. (Such as, tried to MQ, but one head was 'eaten' because of faction or level requirements). Whomever turns in the head that completes the 4 head cycle will get the helm.
There's the risk to an MQ.
Example, 2 players show up, a ranger with "A Smashed Protector of Zek's Head" and his buddy a Wizard with the other three heads. They turn the heads in, not realizing that the ranger is too low level to be rewarded. So the three other heads are 'counted'
Later you show up with 3 others to do the MQ. One of your counterparts has the "A Smashed Protector of Zek's Head." When they turn that head in, BOOM! Helm was given to the wrong person.
(BTW - Don't count on getting a GM to move the head or the helm. Multiquests are not supported.)
We just killed him 20 minutes ago with my 60 SK, a 62 chanty and a 54 druid. I brought my 60 SK to tank him instead of my 60 ranger since I didnt know what to expect. Lol, was an easy kill. My ranger coulda tanked him easy. "The hardest part of this was killing a few other giants nearby the kael entrance to prevent possible adds." He's only MR to snare, summons and enraged near the end. I pulled him with my SK DoT and he didnt resist. During the fight, I had no problem casting other spells on him. Only snare got resisted. After the kill, my druid friend ported my ranger to WL to loot the head. Rot time on corpse is 29 minutes...plenty of time.
Me(60th Ranger) and a 57th Shaman friend of mine beat him to death easily. Shaman got slow off first cast, took me 3 times to snare. He summons, hits in the 150's range, oddly enrages but then runs in the middle of enrage. I was able to single pull him to Kael zone line where we killed him there.

Just droped him with a 47 cleric, 52 Warrior, 55 druid and 55 ranger. Bad lag cost the druid to go down early and warrior drop just as he turned. Low Hp Agroed. BUt we got him hehe
He is kinda made trivial slowed with a higher lvl shaman to slow. I pulled the giants around him first, and then slow pulled him back to the Kael entrance just in case we had any more trains (another guild was running into Kael for a Vindi right and was training us before we started). From what I know and remember, we used: 59 shaman (me), 54 shaman, 54 ranger, 52 ranger, 53 warr, and 50 cleric.
I slowed him first try on the pull, and managed to get malise and cripple off on him pretty quickly with only a couple of resists. The warrior was unable to peel him off of me, but by the time that he was off of me, it didn't matter, cause slowed he wasn't hitting me hard and often at all. I had about 950ac and 2400hp at the start of the fight.
The biggest and only problem came when he enraged at the very end of the fight. By this time, we knew that he was dead, and had everyone but the cleric meleeing him (hehe). I had agro on him as the result of the debuffing and one Bane and one Ebolt and he smacked me pretty hard pretty quickly, but I backed up and he went down a second later. So, no one died, and only me and the lower end ranger went down past two bubbles of life, and that was only near the end when he had about two ticks left on him.
So, if you can get him slowed, then he should be cake with even a few lower end melees.
We killed Him yesterday with a 54 rogue, 54 cleric, 54 mage, 50 monk and me MA 52 Paladin. Was a tough fight i needed 6 CH but i was able to keep all the aggro and it was wild , cleric was oom and had to use LOH at the end. He averaged to hit between 121 to 161.

Hiya.. Wuoshi aggroed by Kael zone when we were trying to kill Overseer..(wondering if was because of Overseer, or just someone trained him) then saw it despawn right after Wuoshi was killed later that day. It was two days ago on Tunare server. May they be somehow related?
