Belt of Pearl
Earring of the Golden MoonHunted Ebondraw for hours just killing the sharks. Was not successful. Started killing the fish (as well as the sharks) and Ebondraw popped pretty quickly. He popped in the area indicated on the Brewall and Good's Maps.
Suggest focusing on killing the fish too.

spawned in the waters in the north for us today after we killed all the fish and sharks and stuff in the water up there.
we spent about 12 hours combined slaying everything between the mid docks and lighthouse and he didnt spawn.
within the first 30 minutes of killing stuff in the north he popped up.

to be clear i mean the far north, near the pirate caves.

Confirmed. Killed everything between the two locations given and he was in the water.

62 SK (7.9khp + 96 AA), 62 Mage, 62 Druid, 62 healer merc, 62 melee dps merc, 62 tank Merc
Druid tracked and pulled to camp then died instantly.
SK tanked.
Mob ran on low health.
Laggy fight.

No good gear, 256AA, just pet tanked and healed. Stayed out of reach of his spell.
No Raging Servant.. Granite Stance on 71 Air Pet, 73 fire skin, and lots of pet heals and down he went.

Duoed by 70 Paladin (Arcstone Gear) and 71 Cleric (Arcstone Gear). Cut it close a few times and was ready to run when we got him below 20% and he took ran. Dropped the earring.
Soloed with 75 Necro baz geared, 334 AA's. Was oom when over due to mana drain effects. Dots and Pet killed it.
as I thought I was after getting my a$$ handed to me by Ebondraw.
I'd been picking off the nameds in Barren Coast for a while and finally saw this one spawn.
Tagged him with snare, then rooted and dotted and starting plinking with arrows.
Then he pulled out his spell book and let loose with a dot and mana drain that had me at 30% before I had a clue what was happening.
Self healing couldn't keep up and I ended up hitting weaponshield and gating out, only to die at the soulbinder's feet in the guild lobby.
Thankfully it was early morning EST and no one was around to see =p
Ebondraw cast Flooded Lungs often enough that I was stuck with it for most of the fight, and now reading the spell is unresistable explains why my high resists were useless.
Definately a humbling mob for people that get too cocky like I did.
Anyone notice a lifetap in it's spells?
I swear it's hp went up significantly a few times as I was getting nailed with it's spell.
I'll have another go at soloing it very soon and try to keep it rooted out of spell casting distance to see if that helps.
