EQ:Ultravision  

Ultravision grants the ability to see better in the dark, even without a light source. It is the best form of night vision in EverQuest. Dark Elves and Frogloks have ultravision.

There are also spells certain classes get that grant ultravision. For example, the necromancer mana conversion spell Lich grants ultravision. Some items can also grant ultravision.
