All Fields and Dungeons are
Instanced. Each Dungeon Hub will have from three to five Dungeons, and each Dungeon has five levels of Difficulty: Easy, Normal, Hard, Master and Abyss. All of the levels
can be solo'd (level depends on your class) but they are designed for the recommended number of players.
- Easy - Solo - You're momma could handle this. Good when you are still in diapers or when the big, bad monster is too tough for you.
- Normal - Solo - Designed to offer a reasonable challenge but nothing too drastic.
- Hard - 2 Players - Challenge for single players.
- Master - 2 to 4 Players - Serious challenge for single players.
- Abyss - 4 Players - Soloing this is gonna hurt and you are almost sure to suffer a death. Better have rezzes available.
Hard and Master have very few Food drops making them harder to stay healthy in. Abyss will drop Food only very rarely (as you are expected to have a healer in the party).
As you might expect, a number of things are very different in an Abyss-difficulty dungeon.
- All the mobs you encounter will be stronger than you have faced before, but you were expecting that.
- There will be elite mobs scattered among the regular enemies. These will be stronger and faster than their fellows and often display a wavering smoke or aura around their bodies. There will be 1-3 of these in every group of mobs you fight, and their names will appear in orange.
- There will be sub-bosses, usually 1-2 per stage. Their names will be in purple and the name will be visible at a larger distance (even before you can see their bodies).
