I share the same thing as mentioned by Aerist however the cold hard reality is that SOE does not make any more money by adding things to old worlds or adding to a pre-existing quest. They have one goal in mind and that is to make money and when they made alot of money, they want to make more. SOE has a financial obligation to raise shareholder value. If they dont, they can be jailed. Yes, jailed.
In order to make more money, they have to find new ways to get cash out of our pockets, one is to sell new expansions. We all know how many bugs are in an expansion but again, the cold reality is, the shareholders want the product on the shelves by "X" date, regardless if it is ready for the shelves. If the thing has a thousand bugs, who cares? Thats tech support.
Memorial Day: Merge Rescheduled, Support Closure
The EverQuest team will be moving the originally scheduled merge between Tunare and E'ci on 5/30 to 5/31. We always do our best to minimize downtime during peak periods and holidays as we often have a larger number of people in-game.
Technical Phone Support and Live chat will be closed Monday May 30, 2005 in observance of the Memorial day holiday. Normal hours for both Tech Support and Live Chat will resume on Tuesday May 31, 2005.
