Can you return unsed adventure vendor itemsFollow

I purchased an adventure item without paying attention to the Augmentation type, I didn't even know what it meant. The item I purchased is for type 3 items and I only have type 7 items so now I want to return it. I thought I had read that this was possible somewhere... Any ideas?

I reread some older EQ Announcements and found it there too. I just gave the aug item to him and received my adventure points!
