Slow Cast time and short duration didnt put a stop watch on it but doesn't seem to be 3 minutes

Just got this for my 66 druid. The longer casting time and shorter duration doesnt make it good for kites really, but kiting in Vxed can be a pain with resists, u dont have much time to recast as they run fast, and the whitecon hynids do resist decently. Use this spell to pull with, then replace it with the 14minute snare, it will overwrite it. Other places ive seen to many resists are the 60+ OOW mobs, and in group u will finish them within 3 minutes anyway, so duration isnt a biggy.

Well I am just a few crystal shy of getting this, and I can already see the +'s and -'s to it. The mana and cast time is double.

The up side I see is that it is going to be a very hard spell to resist. I know the current snare I use lands pretty well, but some mobs resist it 4 or 5 times before it lands if they are really resistant to magic, or I am having a bad day.

This Spell is probably designed mostly for the pvp server, since most players want 1 stat and 1 stat only, Magic resist 8)

The 61 spell is bought with 120 shards from DoN missions.

The 69 is a reward for finishing the second stage of the DoN progression - you also get 250 Hp/Mana/End for finishing this stage.

Save your 120 DoN shards for the +14 stat aug or the +12 resist augs. These spells are an absolute waste of a spell slot. I'm sure that after the worthless epic effect, SoE developers had a relly good laugh over this ... "I know! We can give them a SNARE!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Idiot, this was designed for dueling / PvP server or high resist mobs maybe, Shards are very easy to get too, and cheap.

Got this spell from DoN merchants for 120 points.
Great spell :)
Have not figured out how to get the 69 version yet, Serpent Vines but the 69 version is based on chromatic resists, Uber.
Havent had many resists on it yet and it is invaluable for grouping. Have noticed the mobs still move a little fast even with this spell on though.

Can someone please fill me in on how to get this spell? And if you have it...what are your thoughts on it since the movement decrease is lower than ensnare (lvl 29)?

Is it off of the mission merchants? Does this work just like the LDoN merchants/point system?
