Except regen stops when you get hit. 3 HP per tick is 30 HP per minute while not being in combat. This renders this disc totally useless.
It's level 10. You're going to be using it during downtime like a Monk uses Mend, not when you're tanking a raid boss. Is Mend useless, too? Is Iksar and Troll enhanced regen also useless? A warrior needs as much self healing as they can get. Nobody ever said you'll still be using it at level 105.

I found the tome in PoK, bought it, brought it to the guildmaster, turned it in, he said use your skills wisely, and when I goto setup the skill Alt-C there is no focus will to select?????

If anyone is having a hard time with trying to hotkey the discipline - it is ALT+c now. CRTL+c does not work.
When you brought up your combat window did you click on the little "S"? If you turned in your tomb like you said it should be there. Just open the combat window, click the "S" and make it a hot key. Hope that helps.
If you are thinking this is the equivalent of the monk MEND ability......think again, it's not.

When my MNK uses it, I'm able to run without the ability failing. According to its description, if you do anything "aggresive" it poofs.
i dont get it it only heals you for like 5-9% of your health most of te time only 3 i dont get how its SO AMAZING?

I bought the book for around 9pp and turned it in to my guildmaster at 10. He said use it wisely.

Talk about poor instructions. . . don't worry, you're not the only one.
The way you get these new disciplines to show is by getting the [C]ombat window to show (CTRL+c) then click a blank "button" slot on the combat window to assign it a button. From there u can drag it onto your hotbuttons.

New question... or one that i havent seen yet at least. Is there an expansion that is "Required" to use this? or anyone who buys book and turns it in can use? Some of the new-"er" functions are by expansion only.

You can use this WELL after level 20.. you don't get an upgrade to it for a long time.
It can be found in EC on the guy in leather armor near the back of the cave.. I forgot his name, but he's there with two guys in plate, away from the little cart.

This is called the Tome of Focused Will Discipline.
Under combat skills (alt c) it's called Focused Will Discipline.
This tome can be aquired from the main floor of the library in POK from Beorobin Amondson who is right next to the BER tome merchants. Give it(and all tomes and disciplines) to your GM (use the find button to find GM's and Tome Merchants) to learn the skill.
Tome of Focused Will Discipline stats are:
MAGIC ITEM NO DROP
Charges: 1
Level Needed: WAR(10) MNK(10) ROG(10) BER(10)
Skill: Defense
Mana Cost: 0
Combat Effect: Focuses the energy of your will to h eal your wounds. Any aggressive action you take will break your concentration.
Keep in mind if you break your concentration on this it will take 4min 45secs before you can use this again.
Does not consume anything.

Does anyone know if there are any bersker guildmasters in maybe places like pok or shadowheaven? Really don't want to have to go back to home town if there is a easier one to get to. Thanks

if you go to eqatlas.com you can print out a map of pok and it tells you where all the trainers/merchants and even where builings are and what they are. Just my 2cp
when u are in a zone hit find it will give screen and list of all NPC's of your class like GM just htarget mob u want and hit find
there is a berserker GM in the bldg in the neutral zone of PoK that has the cleric trainer. I beleive if you are standing at the soulbinder looking east and turn to your right the GM is in the first building on your left just to the left of the entrance door.

Ok, the price was fixed and I got this for my 17 Monk. I turned the book into the GM.
How do I use the skill? I have not been able to make a hot button for it. How do I get to it?

you should beable to hit Alt-c and it pulls up the combat menu then you will see the letter S in the right corner then you will see the listing for it then left click on it then click make hot key
In the back of the big cave by Shady is Wilno Lilin. He has the tome in question for a reasonable 9 plat, 1 gold, 2 silver, 5 copper. At least for me, no cha gear on.

I know that all of these abilities are sold in PoK, but it's easier to find them in East Commons for all of you who are looking and get lost.
Go to the tunnel in East Commons. In the section where Shady is (the LDoN Camp), way in the back, against the wall, you will see a bunch of NPC. All of them sell the ability books you are looking for. They are even divided by class. For example: The little gnome guy is for Rogues. THe Barbarian male is for warriors. The Vah Shir female is for Beastlords. They have vendors for all melee classes....well, except Berserker as of yet.
Oh, and for those that don't know this yet, once you buy your book, you have to give it to a Guild Master of your class. ANY guild master will do.

My 2 cents worth, my Rogue has got the lvl 10 FWD, 20 SA, and 30 RD all avaliable for POK and EC NPC's.
The thing is I can't find any of the others, are they dropped from mobs or can they be bought

In Plane of Knowledge, I found the book, Tome of Focused Will Discipline, with Blane Darkblade, on the floor just above the library entrance, in the SW corner, as stated. He demanded 375 plat for the book. I don't have that. Does anyone at level 10?

I suspect you were looking at the Healing Will rather than Focused Will tome. With 100 Cha, he wants 7p 7g 6s 5c for the Focused Will, versus 319p and some change for Healing Will.
And for everyone sending people to various and sundry different merchants, Blane Darkblade in the above location is the Rogue merchant. /loc is about -118,1076,32

Just to help out future rogues, Helden swordbreaker is located in the POK library. He is located on the same level as the Cleric spells. I hope this helps all those rogues trying to find this guy in the UPPER FLOORS of the POK library.

It only works outside of combat. This cannot save your life in a fight, and since it lasts a minute if you initiate any combat move, be it attack, ranged, kick bash etc. it will go away.
The seller is, by the way on one of the top floors of the POK library, near the southwestern corner, and has the last name swordbreaker as has been mentioned. Buy the book from him, give the book to your trainer, and then zone. In the next zone, right click on one of the buttons in your 'combat abilities' window and you can make a hotbutton for this or any ability.

Has anyone else noticed the recent change in price of this to 345 pp? Doesn't that seem to be a bug as an ability for a 10th level character?

never mind its found on Heldin Swordbreaker just down from Uldin Velnik. Heldin has all of the WAR combat abilities except Guard can't find that one

think about it this way, if your gonna be sitting anyway, why not use this skill? some extra healing is better than none. I think the skill should be useable regardless of what your doing (melee, sitting, etc...) since just having the skill means you have taken time out of your life to learn it. Perhaps the amount of healing you do should be based upon the level of this skill.
1/tick at skill lv 1 up to 6/tick by skill lv 200
Personally, I think all classes should be able to solo to some degree at all levels, but no class should ever be able to solo well at any level under 10th
