After lots of testing using a manastone to drain my hitpoints, and Chloroblast to heal, I got anywhere from 432 to 513 points healed.

1 percent of 428 is 4.28 = 432
20 percent of 428 is 85.6 = 513.6

So I'd say its from 1 to 20 percent.

The percentage added to the heal seems to be random between 7% and 15%. Divine Light sometimes heals for 1022, sometimes for as high as 1088.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 07 2002 at 2:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Combat hastes stack too u idiots! Cant forget about them... they allow someone to get up to 178% haste if u have possessed scacroficial club or battle axe from acrylia caverns. 68% haste being the highest in the game called: Fury of the Vah Shir
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 17 2002 at 4:42 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) OK there are offically 3 types of hate but really there is 1 item haste and Spell haste... ALLLLLLL songs but the Vah Shir and Evaja (SP?).
# Jul 26 2003 at 12:16 PM Rating: Default
First off this effect is not a haste. It gives a percentage of improvment to instant heals such as Superior healing and not heal over time spells.

Second I just wanted to comment I'm a 58 Paladin and casting Suprior healing I went from 483hp heal to 583hp heal and that's EVERY time, with this effect! [Edit:]Just realized this was Improved healing 3. The item I have is only IH2. Well worth the 1k I spent for the earring that has it still.

That last remark about can't exceede half ur delay??? Well from the sound of it u don't even know how haste items work... on say a weapon you hit about 100 times a min on u add in say 40% haste u get 140 hits a min there by seemingly lowering delay without ever really changing the value of the delay.

Not sure if u are meaning u can't go over say 100 to 200 hits a min or u mean going form a delay of 100 to 50, but i just wanted to clear it up.

IF IT SAYS IT CAN BE USED BY THIS CLASS AND NOT THAT CLASS OH WELL BOOOOHOOOOO DEAL WITH IT!!! AND AS FOR THE HASTE THERE ISNT A PERCENT CAP THE CAP IS BRINGING THE DELAY DOWN TO 9 DELAY YOU HEAR ME?? SO IF YOU GOT A UBER HASTE ITEM OUT THERE DONT BOTHER WITH ITEMS THAT ARE UNDER A CERTAIN DELAY DO THE MATH PEOPLE!!!

Regardless of what haste it has, I do more damage in now. Notably more damage. Im not shure if its the haste or if it is the 10 more str giving me addisional atk. Spiers in velks became much easier.
Maby i exceeded the mobs ac my atk.

Haste items i have is CoF 36 haste, Whistling fist weapon wish 20 haste and Nalots Quickening 20.

Don`t think i hit faster, get your str as high as possible you will do more damage. Dex also ofcorse of you have a proc weapon.

BTW What is verant thinking of making a mob like SF this rare? Camped this bird for days. Now its on a the meny in a fine restaurant. (fried chicken kentucky in curry sause 25$)
Not for me

Since you can stack one spell haste, one song haste, and one item haste...

Does anyone see something wrong with Swiftwind, Dark cloak of the sky, Eyepatch of Plunder? That would give a soloist ranger 110% haste without needing any outside help. Erm... I think Verant's programmers have been smoking what they forage again.

RE: Uhmm...
# Jul 20 2002 at 6:20 AM Rating: Decent
there is a haste cap
RE: Uhmm...
# Jul 20 2002 at 1:55 AM Rating: Default
Actually, it is one item haste and 1 spell/song haste. There are a few exceptions. Certain songs, (Vah Shir, Ervaj) will apply a third bonus which stacks with both of the others and can also raise your haste above the cap.

Thus Rangers will not be able to get that haste which you mentioned by himself.
Dose this proc stack with others?
# Apr 23 2002 at 6:37 PM Rating: Decent
Mostly i just wanna know if it will stick with the enchanter epic haste and anays quickening.

BUT....haste spells and haste items stack. So this spell with lets say Silver Chitlin Hand Wraps, and ya got yourself 42% haste...which is pretty awsome..

Since a monk is asking this, lets look at it from a monk perspective...

Epic Monk haste (Johnathan's Whistling Warsong) - Bard Haste
Capt. Nalot's Quickening - Spell Haste
Cloak of Flames - Item Haste
These all stack... spell hastes do not stack with eachother, bard/song hastes do not stack with eachother, and item hastes do not stack with eachother.

Pick one from column "a", one from column "b", and one from column "c".

Sorry, but the Eyepatch effect is useless to an epic monk.

Song and spell hastes DO NOT STACK with these 4 exceptions:

2 Ervaj songs.
2 Vah Shir songs.
RE: Dose this proc stack with others?
# Aug 05 2002 at 8:38 AM Rating: Default
This does in fact stack with the monk epic, I know a monk friend of mine that uses this, his epic, and Cof. he runs around at 96% haste without any buffs from anyone else. my monk is currently working on this, and if it didn't stack I wouldn't worry about it. So trust me, it does stack. eyepatch = spell, monk epic = song, cof = perma.
RE: Dose this proc stack with others?
# Nov 29 2002 at 6:14 AM Rating: Default
Just to restate it for the bazillionth time: Spell Haste and Bard Haste (with exception of erjav and vah shir) do not stack. You get both buff icons because the bard songs have additional stat boni. The higher haste superseeds the lower, they do not add up.
It's not even a matter of trusting you, the fact has been proven and stated on bard boards(and monk boards, read monkly-business)ad nausea.

Funny how stuff crops up again and again. After discussing this with someone else I dug up this thread on the monkly-business messageboard:

Again, this shows the eyepatch and epic do not stack, however the eyepatch does add a decent amount of haste considering. (very well worth doing pre-epic if you can)

Just thought I'd let you know.

It could still be used as an insta-click item against dispelling mobs, and the stats on the eyepatch are awesome anyways.

Haste items DON'T stack.

That comes with every spell-description message. IF you could cast it on others, that is what it would say, however, the item restricts it to self only.

Kind of make a bit more sense? It's an if.. if :)

Allowed Targets: Self

Cast on other: A Moss Snake is filled by the spirit of water

I'm confused, it says only self in there yet it says cast on other.
My first thought is maybe someone else had it and casted it. But that someone else is a moss snake so thats out the window. Two possibilites left, "Allowed Targets: Any" or someone did cast only they wrote it as moss snake as a default instead of a persons name.

Every cast message on each spell listed here (parsed from EQ Caster program, www.eqcaster.com) does not mean that you can actually ever SEE that message. It's just the way the EQ Caster program is written. It takes the generic parts of the spell cast message, and forms what you would see IF that were to happen, not that it actually could. Ease of use to do it that way on the programmer(s) so that they don't have to write in some fix to determine cast messages for self only spells and whatnot, they just list them all anyhow..

The "Cast on other" message is what you see when someone else casts it on themselves.

The "Cast on you" message is what you see when you casts it on you.
stacking issues ?

does this spell stack with other Damage shields the way a bards damage shield will ?

yes this spell stacks with other DSs. The only problem with this is it doesnt stack with scream of pain, shaman focus spell, or BMB pally spell.
Heck the pally spell beats this spell becuse it stacks with the shaman focus spell ***** verant)
even though its a level 60 spell.

Dictate is a highend chanter charm. if the spell sticks ( sometimes odd MOBs resist but generally not much resistance as only "special" MOBs can resist and MOBs 57+ ) it will last for 46 sec with no chance of breaking.
