Has anyone run into this guy since the revamp? I sent my Brell rogue into the jail, and I only see elementals (no golems or ratmen).

This item dropped during a Gm event in the Dreadlands off of a named drolvarg. A friend of mine won it and sold it 15 mins later for 31k....i rolled 2 lower than him! (dang)

Dropped off of Head cheesy rat down in jail, was pulling golems/jail when he popped, slizik the mighty, went down with 1 60 dru and 1 60 rog as well as a couple rat adds, rats have low MR, so fix of ro, dot, snare and root them for cc, root lasts a LONG time with ext root AA. Watch out for summons off Slizik, only rat that does and is a lil higher MR, did about same dmg as a golem, nothing too hard. I recommend not sitting through entire battle, he summons even at 10 percent health when he's mad atcha.

The effect Improved Healing 3 stacks with any AA points you have in Healing Adept.
Also a side-note, on my server Brell Serilis... this item is selling upwards of 120-150k.

I saw one go yesterday for 50k on brell.
Yes well, 3 months later, after a new expansion is released can do things like that to prices :)
And another 9 months later, they are now about 10k on Rodcet nife :D

All of your posts are great, but what about the improved healing? What percentage does it add? Right now I have a book of obulus, that has 15% added healing. How much more is this to be worth not having the stats that come from the book? I'm talking 8wis and other stats from the book.... just my 2cp.

maybe im wrong but this says its a ranged item and i assume book of obulus is primary or secondary.... therefore you arent giving it up to get this
The fact that it effects healing spells all the way to level 60 is what is the important part of the effect.

One well rounded group should be enough. I have been there with one group and we took jail with no problems. One of my friends took over after we left and she got this item. Being a cleric it rocks for her. And yes they only had one group also.
This thing drops of Master Yael, bossmob of the hole, and it has a focus effect that doesn't work for spells past level 44. What a waste...

Check the post below you. It has Improved Healing III, NOT Enhancement Haste II. VI Changed some of the effects following the initial patch of adding the focus items. If you want a more up to date list check out the following URL.

I've spent a lot of time xp'ing in the jail area. Sliznik the Mighty is a rare spawn in that area. We've killed him several times, the last time we killed him he dropped this idol.
Shame it has no AC or I'd wear it in a heartbeat. Tossed it to my lowbie nec.

I spent a few days grouping in the jail area at the castle and this item dropped there from soemthing (probably an elemental)
We never killed anything that took more than one group so if this drops from Yael it at least drops from other mobs in Hole too.

erm...its ranged slot, its 3str, 20hp and mana. its a great item for damn near anyone except monks (its kinda heavy). hybrids get the most use out of it (hp, mana, str) but casters would benefit too (str is nice for carrying more ph4t l3wtz) and of course mana and hp. mana and hp for the necros (hp and mana basically means mana and mana).
