I always seem to get hit by this myself whenever I cast it..I always have the mob targeted, and usually in AE situations I don't have any way to stand back from what I'm attacking. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

not unresistable.... get a bard to play psalms of veeshan for your target and bamo, resisted

it's how carprin deatharn is dealt with during the carp cycle
