made it today... Sept. 28, 2004 with every bit of store bought jumjum I could find in Rivervale. Worked every time.. :)
It you start it in Experiment mode until you make one, then switch to regular mode on that window it will make it go faster for you..

This is an awesome recipe to get you there quick. Daleen in Rivervale has the stalks and if you experiment first it will add the receipe.

The published recipe is wrong at this time. The jumjum stalk must be stolen, or possibly foraged - what you can buy from Darleen Leefsway does not work.

Sorry, but this information is just not true...
I checked this today and had no problem brewing jumjum spiced beer with the storebought jumjum from Darleen. Maybe you just used the wrong recipe - remember that there are three different recipes, one for each type of jumjum (storebought, drop of Nillipuss, groundspawn).

If someone would check each of the three recipes for each of the three versions of Jumjum Stalk (storebought, dropped from Nillipuss, and ground spawn) and verify whether a particular recipe works or not, I'll be happy to update the recipe. If you could additionally provide the item lore (identify) information to distinguish which is which, that would also be most helpful.

I used the recipe using the jumjum PURCHASED from Daleen, and it worked just fine.

the jumjum sold in rivervail does not work can some one tell me why
Plus these are part of the ingredients for a Misty Thicket Picnic, so selling them in the bazaar could get you a nice profit.

This cost me 1g 1s and 1c per attempt and My CHA is only 75 so a higher CHA would cost others less. It returns 10 bottles on successful and I was getting 9c per bottle. So, I was getting 9s back on the successful ones. So, the ones that were successfully cost me 2s and 1c. But this was an easy way to get from skill 122 to 162.
