After reading these posts i figured id use this recipe to try and get me to 300. Well, after spending hours preparing the materials and spending tons of plat for all the items, i did my first combine with a skill of 268 and low and behold, "you can no longer andvance your skill."
sigh i was rather upset to say the least. anyway, this needs an update, the trivial for this item is somewhere below 268.

I did get skillups but it doesn't save the combine to memory so it was a bit of a pain

Spent approximately 60K purchasing bars of veliu, then enchanting them, then making the purified water hoping it would be an expensive but significantly less TEDIOUS way of skilling smith up. Not ONE skill up! Not only that, but the forge refused to memorize the combine for this so all combines i did "old school" click and drop. I really don't recommend anyone try using this as a skill up path in smithing!
