Call of the Forsaken Info & Guides: Overview | Progression & Task List | Raiding | Visible Armor This is a pre-launch event ahead of the "Argin-Hiz" zone release (an extension to the storyline involving the Call of the Forsaken expansion). It will be available July 4, 2014, through September 6, 2014 (at which time it will be permanently removed). This is a solo task that begins with the Ambassador of Solusek Ro in South Ro in an NPC camp at /loc 800, -1700, 50. This is just east of the Wizard spires. Pre-Requisites for Requesting: - None NOTE: There are nine pre-launch tasks for Argin-Hiz. It's recommended you pick up all that you can as several of them have steps that overlap with one another.

Attempt to communicate with the forlorn ash creatures wandering the desert 0/5 (South Ro) Mobs called "a forlorn ash" (hit for a max ~17,000; stunnable; mezzable; immune to root/snare; don't summon) wander the desert areas of the zone. Upon hailing them, they'll either emote you and flee away... a forlorn ash retreats from you by some primal instinct of fear! ...Or respond and give you an update. a forlorn ash contorts, and you can almost make out a face for a moment before the swirling ash changes form. a forlorn ash flares for a moment. Is that shrieking you hear, or only desert wind? a forlorn ash sputters, and you hear whispers. 'The flame... so far... so cold...' a forlorn ash whispers, 'A home... for fire... Solusek... why...' "a forlorn ash" can only be hailed one time every 90 seconds. If you it's re-hailed within that timer, it responds without an update: a forlorn ash has already been contacted and has nothing further to communicate. If you fear a forlorn ash near a flameseeker the flameseekers will aggro.

Confirmed. Tried to run around doing this quest at 91 and got completely gang banged by flameseekers.
