Researcher Kallinsa - non-aggro NPC that requires rescuing from the Venomous Spider Guardian, currently seems to be bugged and the lone researcher that holds up the third chest from spawning.

Did this tonight on Agnarr for the first time. Can confirm that everything said here is accurate, but also added some additional info on the named and the spells they cast.

One thing that's really annoying is the dervishes in this zone cast beholder dispel, so be sure that you're buffering valuable buffs with junks and focus the dervishes first.

We were also unable to get 3 chests as the Venomous Spider Guardian researcher never despawned. We did the spider prior to doing the Archpriest, which made us wonder if we technically broke the order of the zone or not. We'll likely never do this zone again, though, so it's a shame we weren't able to 100% it.

Grr.

Kill the "a Frostfoot lookout" mobs to trip the ambushes. There are two types of ambushes; those with mobs only, and those with a named and mobs.

The lookouts that spawn mobs only are serial, meaning that you must kill the first lookout and all the mobs it spawns before the next mob-only lookout will spawn (notice the emote: "As the last of the goblin ambushers falls to the ground, a howl of rage is heard off in the distance. Then, an eerie silence settles in the freezing corridors."). Note that some of the mobs spawn behind the lookout, so make sure you see the emote before moving on. These events must be cleared to make the 3 bosses targetable (notice the final emote: "Three guttural voices are heard conversing in the nearby area. The Frostfoot goblin masters are very close.").

All the lookouts that spawn named are up at the start (there are 5: Enchanted Ice Guardian, Swirling Magical Guardian, Archpriest Yakan, Venomous Spider Guardian, and Savager Krendis). When killed, the researcher that they held captive is freed (despawns). These named must be killed to unlock extra chests, notice the emote after I killed Archpriest Yakan: "Off in the distance there is some rumbling as the mystic veil protecting the goblins treasures has been weakened.". Currently, the Venomous Spider Guardian is bugged, and Researcher Kallinsa does not despawn. I believe this is the reason that I cannot get the third chest to spawn (Venos` Frozen Chest).

So I just completed this event. The Goblin lookouts are the key. When you kill a goblin lookout a bunch of mobs appear (about 8-ish). Kill those. It seemed like every other goblin lookout that I killed also spawned a named mob in addition to the 8-ish other normal mobs.

Anyway, you keep clearing everything and eventually you will get to the far south end and there will be 3 named mobs in a room all by themselves. A warlord, oracle and a mage goblin.

I killed the warlord last out of the 3. Not sure if that matters or not.

I only got 2 chests to spawn (not 3) so obviously I missed something. I do believe that I left up 1 goblin lookout, so my recommendation is to kill all goblin lookouts before engaging the final 3 named goblins.

In the chests were: Fractured Ice Gem of Knowledge, Cord of the Forsaken, and Frozen Cord of Madness...none of which are listed above.
