Cilin Spellsinger says 'The tests of song hold both joy and sorrow. Choose with whom you wish to begin, Denise or Clarisa.' You say, 'I choose Clarisa.' You receive a copy of the book called The Flute. Cilin Spellsinger says 'Then Clarisa it shall be. Simply read the contents of this journal and return it to me when you are ready for your test. If you decide that perhaps Clarisa is not who you wish to test you, simply destroy the book and come back to me when you are ready.' Hand in the book. Cilin Spellsinger says 'Farewell.' Cilin despawns and Clarisa Spiritsong spawns. Clarisa Spiritsong says 'Rejoice and sing my friend.' You say, 'Hail, Clarisa Spiritsong' Clarisa Spiritsong says 'Hi there, ______! I give three sections of the test of songs, Denise does the rest. Do you wish to take the test of pitch, voice, or tone or have you come for trade?' You say, 'The test of voice.' Clarisa Spiritsong says 'The sweet sounds rising forth from our throats are what make us truly great. Go forth and give voice to your songs, and return to me a platinum disc, a music box, and a light woolen mantle. If you do this, I shall give you the mantle of the songweaver. Good luck!' Could an admin please look at this page? The margins stretch infinitely to the right instead of wrapping to the next line, so it's distorted and difficult to read. Something seems to be wrong with the HTML.

Recharges with Class 4 mana battery
On Mangler tonight, the respawn time doesn't appear to be 2 hours anymore. He respawned in approximately 20 minutes for me.

These quest line instructions are incorrect. The two NPCs that you spawn after turning in the book to Cilin Spellsinger is backwards. I learned the hard way and had to wait 2 hours for him to respawn.
Clarisa Spiritsong does Test of Pitch, Voice, and Tone.
Denise Songweaver does Brass, wind and Harmony.

Using this as a template...
Note: There were three experience messages. One after handing in the book and two on completion. This is interesting because I did not receive the experience message after Cilin's fairwell when spawning Clarisa on other occasions.
Update: The double experience messages at the end might have been related to having a mercenary up in group at the time. Double party experience messages sound familiar... Also, I noticed the poster who submitted the test of harmony dialogue received a party experience message after Cilin's fairwell, so it might be something weird related to having a party during the turn in. I removed them from below and inserted the normal experience message to mirror the other quests, as I assume that is how they would have resulted without a party.

Platinum disc -- azaracks on Azarack Isle (3rd)
Light Woolen Mantle -- Keeper of Souls on Gorg Isle (4th)
Music Box -- not sure but it was something on 1st, 3rd, or 4th isle.

Where do you get said Platinum Disc, Music Box and Light Woolen Mantle? Does Cilin Spellsinger or Clarisa Spellsong tell you that? If so would someone post the log of that conversation? Plzthxla~

Posted: Aug 04 2001 at 1:51 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) THe reason why is because this is acutaly in the future not the past, if you have read any of the books that go along with what the game is based apon then you would know that and the reason why its hard to find them is because manythings have been destoryed and these items are VERY rare see so now you understand alittle more about RP and all this from a 14 year old shesh

a platinum disc could easily be like a frisbee made of platinum :) and they had music boxes in the dark ages *smiles*
