Rites of Passage  

This achievement has to be recognised as worthwhile, big thumbs up from me.

Why?

It was relatively painless, and able to complete it in a couple of hours, in a small group of high 60s.
Given the time investment, it gave a very nice return in the shape of those two rings of this achievement, plus a range item from the second quest.

All 3 were upgrades.

The first quest takes to Blackfeather Roost.
The second quest is to Sunderrock Springs.

Keeping in mind, I've already quested in Blackfeather so familiar with it. Plus the task asks you to go to 1st set of islands. I was already 'keyed' for the portal by completion of a quest there some days ago.

If you haven't, then take some Bear and Snake meat with you, buy from PoK (or kill mobs near the portal). This is the single quest you'll need to do for access to that island: Blackfeather Roost, The Ledge
It is quick.

Collecting the egg in Blackfeather Roost, move to spawn spot, clear mobs and loot. Then further ~ 15 minutes per character. Static spawn, that is looted from the ground, on cursor to bag. Does not go via the advanced looting widgets.

Collecting the head from Sunderrock Springs - move to the spawn spot, and wait for the hedgehog to turn up. Tag it for aggro, kill, loot it's head. Respawn, ~ 12 minutes? but there is also the wait for it to run around the zone until it goes by.

The wait spot is non-aggro, and in the hour or so there had no mobs pat by that did aggro. Only aggro received was when we made the first move, and hit hedgehog, a drake didn't like it and social assisted.
