This is a kill task that begins with an embittered presence at the zone-in of the Sepulcher of Order (location -185, -50, 4 -- the entrance area from the City of Bronze). Pre-requisites for requesting the task: - No tasks - 88 Skill Level in Alaran You say, 'Hail, An embittered presence' An embittered presence fills your mind, flooding your consciousness with shattered but vivid memories of a past that was not your own; an existence filled with such anger and resentment that although life no longer remains, the [hatred] lives on as its own entity. It pulses within your mind, trying to consume you. You say, 'Hatred?' An embittered presence's memories whirl like a cyclone: kindness turned to [betrayal]; a friend, [buried] alive; running, being [hunted] like an animal; a waterfall; falling - [drowning]!; a hand, dragging you from the depths; and finally a single, glowing green flame, leaving you cold and numb as your fate is decided. There is no [justice]. You say, 'Betrayal?' An embittered presence's thoughts fill your mind with murky memories, distant and vague, of a figure which radiates a kind gentleness. Although it is blurred, you can still make out the wings upon its back, as the figure turns towards you, and approaches. Your final glimpse is of a malicious grin and then - darkness. You have been assigned the task 'Clipping An Ascended's Wings'. An embittered presence's thoughts fill your mind with distant and vague images: a figure, clouded and blurred, as though the presence has willed for centuries that this moment had never existed. For a split second, you catch a clearer glimpse of the figure kneeling by a pool; as it rises, you realize it was a myriad of delicate wings... Kill 10 ascended or enraptured ser alsa thel 0/10 (Sepulcher of Order) These mobs are found in the north-central part of the zone (in the area outside the Triumvirate's tomb room). Upon the last kill: A feeling of tranquility encompasses you, freeing you from a resentment which has lasted for centuries.
