This is a solo task that begins with Plann in the Resplendent Temple, located at 2120, 430, -340. This is in the underground cave system outside the temple. He's in a dead-end tunnel in the southwest part of the caves. Pre-requisites for requesting the task: - No tasks - 73 Skill Level in Alaran You say, 'Hail, Plann' Plann gazes up at you with a cautious curiosity. With one hoof extended, the young swinetor slowly reaches out to touch your armor before yanking his arm back in fear. 'What're yuh? Why'd something so clean come down ['ere]?' You say, ''Ere?' Plann says 'This's the in-between, home to swinetor like me an' other creatures nobody wanted.' Clearly impressed by your presence, the budding necromancer takes a slow step closer, 'Wanta see a [trick]?'' You say, 'What trick?' Plann throws his small snout into the air and snorts, 'I know whole bunches of tricks, just you wait. Yuh'll be so impressed with Plann! But can't do tricks without supplies. Yuh wanta [help] Plann out? Clean stranger won't be sorry!' You say, 'I'll help you out' Plann kicks his hooves in the mud with excitement, 'Yuh bring supplies, and Plann will do tricks!' You have been assigned the task 'Plannty of Tricks'. Plann has a few tricks up his sleeve and would love to show them to you! All he needs are a few items... Retrieve wings from mosquitoes 0/2 (Resplendent Temple) Retrieve whiskers from rats 0/2 (Resplendent Temple) Rats and mosquitoes are found in the cave system. The task updates randomly after kills; no item is involved. Return to Plann 0/1 (Resplendent Temple) You say, 'Hail, Plann' Plann lets out a snort so loud it shakes the surrounding walls, 'Clean stranger looks lots better now!' You are turned into a mosquito for a few moments. Speak with Plann 0/1 (Resplendent Temple) You say, 'Hail, Plann' Plann speaks quickly, fearing your departure, 'Don't leave! Plann can do more! One [special] trick just for the clean stranger, Plann never done before.' You say, 'Special?' Plann grins devilishly from ear to ear, 'Yuh bring just one bone marrow, Plann do the trick for everybody! So simple!' Give any type of bone marrow to Plann 0/1 (Resplendent Temple) Bone marrow drops from animal type creatures above ground, outside the temple. You can use any type to update this step (pre-lootable; be ready for a fight upon turn-in, as "an abomination" spawns and attacks you). Defeat Plann's creation 0/1 (Resplendent Temple) Speak with Plann 0/1 (Resplendent Temple) You say, 'Hail, Plann' Plann looks from side to side with worry, hoping you didn't notice his trick go horribly wrong. 'Special trick is a success! Clean stranger still alive!' The young swinetor returns to practicing his tricks with a smile. I recieved an update for Retrieve whiskers from rats from a diseased rat.

I am curious if I am killing the wrong Mosquitos? I received two immediate updates from killing Rats, but no updates for killing 6 mosquitos. Is there a certain location for these mosquitos? I was killing the ones from when you just drop down into the caves. Are there other ones that I might get the UD from?
Yeah, you're doing it right. Mosquitos are in the central cavern from when you drop down through the crevasse. Maybe random number generator just hating on you. :)
Our group was changed into rats & mosquitoes. Your vision changes to a sort of sepia-tone and most color is washed out. The illusions last a few minutes.
The quest comment above, "You are turned into a mosquito for a few moments." should be changed to "You are turned into either a rat or mosquito for a few minutes."

I was also turned into a rat instead of a mosquito.
Retrieve wings from mosquitoes 0/2 (Resplendent Temple)
Retrieve whiskers from rats 0/2 (Resplendent Temple)
These two steps are just random updates upon killing the appropriate mobs, not actual item drops.
Return to Plann 0/1 (Resplendent Temple)
You say, 'Hail, Plann'
Plann lets out a snort so loud it shakes the surrounding walls, 'Clean stranger looks lots better now!'
Incidentally, when you complete this step Plann will turn you into a mosquito for a few minutes. This didn't seem to change faction with any local mobs, including mosquitoes.
Speak with Plann 0/1 (Resplendent Temple)
You say, 'Hail, Plann'
Plann speaks quickly, fearing your departure, 'Don't leave! Plann can do more! One [special] trick just for the clean stranger, Plann never done before.
You say, 'Special?'
