It is a group mission (3-6 players) that begins with Boldger Bristlebeard (click for map image) in the Norrath's Keepers camp of the Lavastorm Mountains. Pre-requisites for requesting: - Minimum level 55 - Minimum "amiable" faction with Norrath's Keepers Hail him to get a quest window pop-up. You have been assigned the task 'Infested'. Our explorers have met with an infestation greater than we had expected in the Lavaspinner's lair. A new type of spider was found in the tunnels and have proven near impossible to dislodge. We need them cleared out so exploration can continue. Locate and destroy the Lavaspinners! Note: This group mission scales to your group's level. The highest is 68+, outlined here. 
Touch the cave entrance to Lavaspinner's Lair. 0/1 (The Broodlands) This is marked on your compass (far southern instanced entrance). Kill 4 lavaspinner protectors 0/4 (Lavaspinner's Lair) Kill 1 hulking lavaspinner 0/1 (Lavaspinner's Lair) The protectors are found in the dead-end caves while the hulking lavaspinner is located in the central cavern. "Lavaspinner Protector" hits for a max ~1,100; has ~56,000 hitpoints; AE rampages; summons; and is immune to mez/stun. "Hulking Lavaspinner" hits for a max ~1,100; has ~75,000 hitpoints; flurries; summons; and is immune to mez/stun. The task completes upon the fifth kill. Lavaspinner Protector has been slain by _____! Lavaspinner Protector's corpse oozes a thick smoke from its many wounds. Hulking Lavaspinner has been slain by _____! Hulking Lavaspinner's corpse falls and begins to smolder. Excellent work! The way should be clear for the explorers once again. I just did this and found that there is no way out of this instance once you get inside. Aside from dropping the task and waiting.
