Switch Billingsley is standing on a rather large contraption at -440, +335.
You say, 'Hail, Switch Billingsley' Switch Billingsley says 'Greetings. This is my Transmogrifer! I designed it to transfer intelligence between Fibblebrap gems, the stones at the cores of our clockwork bodies which contain our memories. Fibblebrap gems get old from time to time and we -- 1101010110100010 -- clockwork gnomes start to break down. *Error. Aborting auto maintenance check.* My gem's a bit old and I'm starting to get all kinds of-of-of-of-of problems. So I'm going to switch out gems with this Transmogrifer. Would you [like a demonstration] of how it works?' You say, 'I would like a demonstration.' Switch Billingsley says 'Okay, here goes. First you flip this switch here. Then you place the source item and the destination item into the open box sockets. Allow a bit to transmogrify and BING! You're ready! You can even use this thing to transmogrify any evolving items you have. Just be warned, there's a lot of energy loss to friction with each transfer. . .' A window opens with a "from" item slot and a "to" item slot. Known compatible item pairs Blade of the First Night -> Blade of the Night Sky (75% compatibility) Blade of the First Night -> Cloak of the Spirit Tracker (75% compatibility) Eldritch Ring of Prismatic Refraction -> Version XI Serial Translation (75% compatibility): Ring devolves (1/3, 85%) and mask evolves (2/4, 0%) Wrap of the Pantheon (7/7) -> Cloak of the Spirit Tracker (75% compatibility): Wrap devolves to Wrap of Four Blessings (4/7, 12%) and Cloak evolves to Cloak of the Spirit Stalker (2/3, 0%) More information needed, including missing dialogues, other items that can be used, faction hits if any, etc. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Version XIV Serial Translatron 4/4 (maxed) had 50% compatibility with Ancient Werewolf Skull 1/3 0%, upgraded to Skull of the Denlord 2/3 0%. Downgraded to Version XI Serial Translatron 1/4 80%.

Sinister Ring of Chromatic Reflection (level 3) was NOT compatible with the "Very Small Stone Tear" (Level 1 of "Tears of Alaris).
I am pretty sure ANY evolving item can be used as from or to in this device. The percentage of transfer does vary, however. Also, you can't transfer XP to max out the last level, in my experience. In other words, if an item has 3 levels, the max you can transfer into it is 2 levels.
Eldritch Ring of Prismatic Refraction >> Version XI Serial Translatron with 75% compatibility.
Ring de-evolved down to level 1/3 85%
Mask evolved to level 2/4 0%
Ring de-evolved down to level 1/3 85%
Mask evolved to level 2/4 0%
Cloak of the Spirit Hunter transferred 20% into Glume'inas the Stinking at 1/4. It changed Cloak back into Cloak of the Spirit Tracker.

Yep, same with Aldrian's Fancy Pants for me, would not transfer anything to Nyseng the Deep-Born. Pain to have that happen. wish there was a list somewhere.

I checked this one. I dug my Blade of the Eclipse out and checked it with Glume'Inas. 50% compatability, Glume was at 40% and it would take it to 2/3 but devolve Blade to 3/7 (Blade of the Crescent Moon).

Cursed moonfang shield of vile deathwarding (SoF shield)
compatible (50%) with death's maw dagger (give about 53% in first lvl to the shield)
compatible (50%) with cloak of spirit hunter (lvl 3) (give about 83% in first lvl)

I was able to use Blade of the Thrice Bitten in order to evolve the Remnant of Grokui's Claw to level two.

...is correctly spelled "transmogrify" and dates back to a first known use in the 1600s, which predates the comic by a few hundred years.

I used a fully evolved Wrap of the Pantheon (7/7) to transfer exp to the Cloak of the Spirit Tracker (1/3, 0%). It was 75% compatible. At the end of the transfer, the wrap had devolved to Wrap of Four Blessings (4/7, 12%) and the cloak had evolved to Cloak of the Spirit Stalker (2/3, 0%).

Can anyone by chance compose a list of the evolving items they know of? I would appreciate it greatly! :)
I've used advanced versions of Wrap of 3 blessings (Wrap of Eight blessings, Wrap of the Pantheon) to turn Ancient Werewolf skull into Skull of the Den lord. It would only go to 2/3 though. You must level to 3/3 yourself.
I found "Blade of the First Night" (level 5/6) for 10k and so I bought it on the chance I could use the xp to evolve my "A Symbiotic Larva" (level 1/5)
It was 75% compatible and I was able to evolve the ring to "An Elder Quickworm" (level 3/5) and the blade was reduced to "Blade of the Thrice Bitten (level 3/6)
2 levels for 10k isn't too bad considering the blade normally sells for more. I might end up with profit from this =)

Tried using Nogglegrop the Steadfast (3/3) as the source to upgrade my An Elder Quickworm (3/5) but it was not compatible. Maybe the target had to be lower level?

I have tried to transfer from adrian's fancy pants ( full ) to my arcstone cloak, which I just got finally.. and the game wont allow the transfer... I wish they would give us a better idea of what will transfer with what, cause I don't have the money to be able to buy the fully evolved weapon to be able to shift it from that...
Blade of the twice bitten works with cloak of the spirit tracker
but you lose a lot off xp , it said 75% but the result was from blade of the twice bitten 16% to once bitten 0% and the cloak got 17% only

I was able to use a symbiotic lava to go to my Cloak of the Spirit tracker , said it was 75% compatable

Anyone try Tradeskill Trophies? I'd suspect there would be a bug with those though since the Experience on Trophies is based on skills, until you get to the Last Trophy
Tried to move exp from my Cloak of the Spirit Tracker 3/3 to my Twisted Shank 3.25/6 but it said target item cannot be upgraded further.

Tried to transfer from Skymaul weapon to Spirit cloak (both have same number of levels) and it would not allow me. I am guessing that items must be similar (both weapons or both armor). Wish it would let me because leveling takes too long.

My best guess on why it wouldn't work is because the cloak is PoR and the shank and the skymaul are DoD. I think that both items have to be DoD.
I was able to move exp from my Blade of the First Night (DoDh) to my Blade of the Night Sky (DoDh) and my Cloak of the Spirit Tracker (PoR). In each case it said they were 75% compatible, so I assume there was 25% loss. I was only able to transfer 1 level in each case. After the transfer I got message that the item would not accept any more transfered energy.
