Your entire group does get flagged.
Grimror spawns as he normally does.
Those in the group that are *not* the last person to turn things in, if MQed, or to not turn anything in at all, will not see *any* sort of quest message, I didn't.
Typing /key will show you whether you got flagged or not, it should say, "Grimror's Bangle/Bracer allows you access to the Ruins of Lxanvom(sp)"
Those in the group who are not the last person to do the turn in will *not* recieve the bracer, but still have access to CoD.

It appears that Grimor has been perma killed.
This was done soon after the last patch. In this patch they changed the quest to a mini flagging event, where if the person who does the quest hand in is grouped, then the whole group gets keyed for CoD.
Why did Sony take this Grimor out (as well as all other alternate PoP entry quest mobs?)?
So dont waste your time with this until the next patch, when hopefully some thing may be done to bring back the alternate key quests into PoP.
All online guide/GM replies have been that he (and other quest npcs for alternate flags) is gone, but no other information is forthcoming.
This would be nasty if Sony decided to stop people from access to tier two if they thought too many were getting flagged.

I've found that none of the larva spawn spots in particular yield the named bugs. I've seen 3 Scaevians up at one time and 2 harrions at a time. The generian seems to be the least commonly found, but their PH's seem to be the highest level of all the larvas, at a max of 54.

Do any of the mobs you need to fight summon or cast?

I've gotten all of them and per Eyronomous's post his chart worked perfectly, with the exception of the scaevian larvae. A time frame on this is days. Im a 63 driud and I could easily solo any of these mobs with dots, or with a charmed rat. But getting them to spawn is tricky. The majority of the PH's are in one common area near the Pestilance houses, you'll find them and be able to kill them there. But when you are done go back to zone like and head towards the "fly islands" you'll find a few PH's over there. The Named can spawn in any spot, after usually about 3 full clears of any ph the named popped this can take a hour if you are as slow as me. But in group I doubt longer than 20 minutes per clear. I can't seem to find the PH for the Scaevians, I've cleared most everything once or twice. If you guys know which mob is the definate PH for the Scaevians I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Oh yeah and I noticed the last 2 I killed (named) both dropped parchments, I dont know if Im lucky or if it was meant to be that way, but they do drop parchments.

Is there a particular location and place holder associated with the Generian Larva? Have been able to find the other 3 but so far no luck with the last one. Any help apreciated.

Here is what I've found are the PH's for the different named mobs you have to find
Harrion PH = malarian larva found near the fly camps
Generian PH = Planarian larva found near the middle of zone
Sengian PH = Tachnian Caterpillars found by going right when facing the bone castle Entrance
Scaevian PH = not sure, i think it is the tsetian pupa these are found at the same area as the tachnian caterpillars
none of these named mobs were much harder than their PH's I soloed them easily as a 61-62 nec. none casted

I'm working on this quest atm, currently have 2 of the 4 skins required. From the 2 named I have already killed I have got parchments from both of them. There is also a Scaevian Fly that pops in the fly camp, its not needed for this quest but I killed it anyway, also droped a parchment.

The most difficult part is single pulling the mobs, even using harmony I've got a few adds. There is a named goo (Rankle) that I've not aggroed or tried to kill while doing the rest, I dont intent too until I find out if he casts/summons or not. I normally try and charm either a sewer or feeble rat to kill the larva, makes things faster and you can keep adds rooted while your pet does the work.

Info on the harrion larva (and I assume the same goes for the others):
Around 15-16K hp
Warrior type, estimating around lv54-56
Sometimes enrages (dependant on level perhaps)
Not sure what it hits for (rarely get hit kiting), I think somewhere in the 200+ range.

For anyone still confused about this quest, the resulting item is a key that allows you access to the Crypt of Decay. It's the alternate way to gain access to the zone for those that don't have a guild large enough to kill Grummus.
I just recieved this item for COD and was wondering where is the enterance? Is it thru Grummus cause I sure hope not.
Seems like the entrance to COD is in caves up above near there zone-in to the POD.

Does anyone know where theSegian/Sengian Larvae spawns?
Sengian has tachnian caterpillars as PH, there are 6 total in zone, you want the 4 right around in the middle by pusling houses, one of the longer camps for most people.
Over by the mummy guys (pestilences) around their house. You hunt mummies, you will eventually see the worm you need.

new info, in todays patch VI said to use identify for next step. I will try it today and see if there is more step on this quest item or its for the previous items.
clickable from inventory means to don't have to loose stats from a better item to use it. Insta click will save a lot of re-buffing on raids with AoE dispells, unless of course the MOB is using disease base spells where you want a better disease buff that won't stack, but those are less common, and it will still come in handy if your better disease resist buff gets dispelled.
Risk/time vs Reward...well, maybe not worth it if you weren't getting EXP at the same time hunting these things. But since you do...

the item is ac 7 and instant click resist disease and the npc that give the quest is in pod its an ogre , but like i said u cannot equip this item u use it from your inventory slot so dont ask me why its ac 7 ....

i did the quest and its kinna desapointed

I wonder if this item is used in the research quests in PoK. It talks about decifering magic items. People believe items with no class or race are used in this quest.
