War Historian Kobl says, 'If blood ink is what you seek, only I can provide it. I use a unique blend prepared by my secret method. I can supply you with a vial of blood ink, but first you must fetch me four ingredients. I need globules of blood from certain creatures. I need globules from the carnivorous plants, leeches, and mosquitoes. I also need globules from the blood pit of the Tower of Death. Bring me these and be quick, or the blood will disintegrate.' What is this stuff for? What is the parchment and ink for???

Ok, Do not confuse the Water reeds that you get with Foraging with Illweed reed. They are COMPLETELY different. as far as I can tell the quest does not work right now. as with a 150 skill in fishing I was unable to find anything beyond Bloodfin Trout and the normal rusty daggers/sandals. You cannot forage Illweed Reed.

I get water reed when foraging, never bothered to Identify it, is it the right stuff, if so it is relatively common

Yesterday I foraged one with my ranger. Put down the poles, and get to foraging.

I have used over 200 bait as of Jul 13 and no Illweed reeds or wet clay are able to be fished anymore for some reason

as of sept 23 i have gotten my fishing skill to master and still no illweed
