This quest is available for Human Paladins of Marr.
You say, 'Hail, Edwardian Holyblade' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Greetings and well met Dukane. I am Edwardian Holyblade, noble paladin of Marr. I have devoted my life and my blade to the glory of Mithaniel Marr. I am also in charge of training all new paladins of Marr to make sure that they have the best training necessary. If you are a paladin of Marr I may have some [training] for you.' You say, 'what training' Edwardian Holyblade says 'I have developed a training program for all young and upcoming Paladins of Marr. My tests will enable you to learn some basic hunting, navigating and armor crafting skills. All of these abilities will be very important on your path to enlightenment. If you are [ready to begin my tests] I will explain to you how the tests will work.' You say, 'i am ready to begin your tests' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Very well Krohfak, I look forward to seeing you progress through your training. Here is your special mail assembly kit. In this kit you will combine a number of components that you will collect from all areas of Freeport, North Ro and the Commonlands. The components that you will gather and combine in this kit will magical create a specific armor material piece. Each of these materials will be combined in a forge with the appropriate mold that I will provide you with. I will explain to you how the [recipes] work when you are ready.' You say, 'what recipes' Edwardian Holyblade says 'Once you have crafted your material from the specific recipes I give you you will need the appropriate mold as I mentioned before. I can present you with the recipe and mold for Truthbringers [Helms], [Bracers], [Armguards], [Boots], [Greaves], [Gauntlets] and [Breastplates]. When you are ready to being collecting the components for a material recipe simply tell me what piece you [want] to craft.' You say, 'i want to craft greaves' Edwardian Holyblade says 'I can't begin to tell you how important pants are Dukane. Any injuries to them could disable you from escaping should you need to and would surely perish due to this. To create your greaves material you will need to combine 4 Bricks of Crude Iron Ore, 1 Coyote Pelt , 1 Shadow Wolf Tibia, 1 Bottle and 1 Raw Bamboo in your assembly kit. Once you have created the proper material take it to a forge along with this mold to fashion your very own Truthbringers Greaves.' | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I tried NRO, but Coyotes are rare spawns there now. I checked steamfont, and within 5 minutes I found a small coyote and it dropped the pelt. To those that are trying to do this quest, it will be alot easier in steamfont

Ihave been hunting for seven hours & not 1 pelt of any type has drop'd. Where are they?

Well, after 3 hours and about 50 coyotes killed in Northen Ro, I finally got one to drop a "coyote pelt". I started to scream every time I saw a "ruined coyote pelt" or "low quality coyote pelt" drop. And I checked every merchant in the area and none had one for sale.
The bottom line is, my persistance paid off and now I have the full set of truthbringers armor (I made all the other items in about two hours, mostly buying the items from merchants. The coyote pelt was definitely the hardest to get).
Was it worth it? YES! My paladin looks awesome in the full set of armor and now I can focus on killing the foul creatures that infest the land!
BTW, I was 6th level by the time I got the coyote pelt and they were mostly con'ing green and few were dark blue.

WOOT!! the prayer beads drop now, you CAN find them, i bought mine from a merchant in the inn past orc 1 in East Commons, i now have my bracers and am no longer filled with pissedoffness

what is the name of the coyote pelt needed? its not of ruined or low quality, so, what is it?

They are probably a 1 in 20 drop.

You might want to note that this accounts for only one bracer, you'll need an extra brick of crude iron ore, red wine and orc prayer beads for the second bracer.

Killed about 50 or 60 coyotes yesterday in NRO about 5 hours real time got 1 pelt. Completed Breastplate ....now if only them prayer beads would drop (sheesh!!)

ANY vendor that sells a fishing rod WILL have the bamboo......Coyote pelts drop off coyote's in nro, near the newb inn area....... a bottle can be bought at an inn.......and viola, shadow wolfs drop the tibea.

I've been trying to find the coyote pelt and shadow wolf tibia for 2 days.
Where do you find the shadow wolfes?...I see almost all black wolves.
Are there more coyotes than those at the 1st inn in NRO?
Can these items be bought anywhere? If so please be specific.

Finally got them both.
Walked out of the tunnel between EC and NRO saw a coyote killed it and ...tada, the pelt. Went back thru the tunnel to EC headed towards the road to the NF, saw a shadow wolf, killed it and got the tibia.
Funny how these things work out.

I FINALLY got a coyote pelt after hunting them for weeks! Only have to get the orc prayer beads now /sigh.

The Coyotes can be found in Northern Desert of Ro. However, I too am unable to find anything other than low quality or ruined coyote pelts. This is getting to be annoying as I am unable to find the pieces required to complete two of these quests. The bracer is one of these, effectively making me unable to obtain three items that should be relatively easy to obtain.

A friend was helping me get some items to do all the quests at once ang got a coyote pelt in ec off of a black wolf so go figure =P

Ok ive been killing coyotes for like 5hrs now...only ruined and LQ coyote pelts have droped whats up?!?!?! ~_~ pllllzzz help me hehe

I can't find just a regular coyote pelt anymore. All I can find now is crap like ruined and low quality coyote pelts.

I found the Raw Bamboo at the"Freeport Coalition of Trade Folk". This is near the entrance to the Paladin Guild area.
Inside talk to Tradesman Tulan, it was right under a fishing pole and I kept mistaking it for a fishing pole.
I just finished the greaves last night, so I hope this helps.

I just completed this quest with a half-elf of Tunare, so it's not just for humans of Marr as it says here.

The Tibias are on the shadow wolves but are rare drops. Mine dropped when i least expected it so be ready to find one. Just keep on searching and hopefully u will get one

I've killed literally hundreds of shadow wolves and I've not seen one tibia. Is this an item you need to purchase somewhere?
They're sadly no-drop. But after killing a dozen in EC, then a dozen in Nek, came back to EC and got the tibia for my paladin off the first one. Had to run him there to loot it of course. But yeah, you can't buy them unfortunately like you can with most of the other items.

What mobs drop the coyote pelts. I've been searching for like a week and no coyotes seem to drop them. Where are they at?
Well i got mine in NRO on the 5th or six coyote...Of coarse I got it with my lvl 26 paladin and gave items to my human one but it didnt seem like a rare drop

Enchanter nukes have a very long recast delay and he probably thought he could nuke/mez, but of course this mob is impossible to mez as pointed out in another post.
In order to nuke/mez you can't have a pet up, so of course he got beat to death by the mob when he couldn't mez it (and root does no good, since it can summon).

You can buy Raw Bamboo off the half elf merchants by the bank in NFP.. also off other food merchants in other towns.
