Lendel Deeppockets says 'Its nice to meet you Makkinry. Allow me to introduce myself, I am Lendel Deeppockets master Assassin of Rivervale. I am personally in charge of all [training] we have the new recruits go through before they are sent out on specific missions. ' You say, 'What training' Lendel Deeppockets says 'There are many steps that young rouges must take on the road to stealth. The most important part of your training is learning how to use the tools around you such as the forge. From the looks of you I can tell you could use some more [enchanted armor] as well so I think this would be a good learning experience. ' You say, 'What enchanted armor' Lendel Deeppockets says 'I am pleased to hear that you are interested in making your own armor Makkinry. I have some instructions for you so please listen closely. First, I will present you with your Dusty Mail Assembly kit when you are ready. After that, simply tell me what piece of Slickfinger Chainmail you [want] to craft and I will give you a pattern along with a recipe for [Coifs], [Bracers], [Sleeves], [Boots], [Legplates], [Gloves] and [Tunics]. The recipe I will give you for specific items will need to me combined in the assembly kit to create the magical material necessary. Once you have this material and pattern that I gave you when you told me what item you wanted to craft, put both in the nearest forge to create the armor piece you asked for. Here is your Dusty Mail Assembly Kit. ' You say, 'I want to craft the bracer' Lendel Deeppockets says 'Go out into the thicket and seek out 1 Brick of Crude Iron Ore, 1 Shattered Warbead, 1 Large Yellowjacket Sternite and 1 Milk. Once you have combined them in your kit to fashion the bracer material take it to a forge along with this pattern to create your Slickfinger Chainmail Bracer. no you dont need blacksmithing. you will automaticly make the armor with out any blacksmithing skill.

I have been trying to whip up these Bracers forever, I was told nothing with the quantity number in the icon is combineable, so is there a MILK lore item out there somewhere? Otherwise, I simply can't combine the sternite, ore, and shattered warbeads, with a bottle of milk.... any help available would be greatly appreciated.

Have all of the slickfinger armor and weapon EXCEPT the bracer(s). Lg. yellowjackets are a rare spawn, and the sternite seems to be a rare drop (have seen several tergites on them).
To get the rare spawns (drakelings, lg. YJs and bats) to pop, start killing everything in newbie area. These critters seem to spawn near the pit where berries spawn, as well as along the path toward wall. Large yellowjackets only spawn in newbie area (like the drakelings). Happy hunting.

I have all of the pieces for this or so i think, the giant yellowjacket sternite, the brick of crude iron ore, a bottle of mile, the only thing is my shattered warbead says warbeads. Anyways the items Do not combine. any help?

I've got the same problem. I wasn't sure if a shattered warbead was different than shattered warbeads. I also noticed that it says large as opposed to giant.
So where do we get the *large* YellowJacket sternites? Is it just a rarer drop than the giant ones? I've gotten 2 or 3 of the giant ones already.

The large yellowjackets are near the ent to Rivervale, they are a lower lvl mob!

Great! Thanks for letting us know. Strange that I haven't noticed any around there. Do some of these things only spawn at certain times of the game day? I've noticed that in ShadeWeaver's Thicket on Luclin.
For futher clarification:
Is there a single shattered warbead, or is that a mistake in the quest text? It is easy to get shattered warbeads (plural) off of the goblins. Thanks for the info!

The standard Shattered Warbeads which drop off of Goblins work fine. The problem i'm having is getting the Sternite to drop from the Large Yellowjackets.
