do you have to be 45 to turn in the items or is that a recomended level?????
Many of you might be right, this may be a useless quest and a complete waste of time. IF you are doing the quest entirely by yourself and not going the easy route. By which I mean buying the components. I just got this and was fortunate enough to be able to buy the necessary items to turn in. I found the sharpened rockhopper claws however on my own in Mons Letalis by pure luck, the etched steel shavings as well. But the Mark of Tranquility, the hard part, was purchased for a mere 50pp. The total cost with all the pieces that I bought or found coming to a grand total of 100pp. So yes, it saves you time to not do this quest. But you can save a lot of money on a good monk chest item by simply buying the cheaper pieces yourself.

i tryed and its imposable for under 50s to do it without a grp, so why not just buy a Renforced acrylia tunic? its better by far and its ALOT easyer to get

The mark of tranquility drops off a mob call a tranquil bloodtribe hero.conns dkb to lvl 53 druid.he hit any where from to 100-150.hes a non caster.

I am fairly certain that the Mighty Rockhopper is a roamer and not static. Trouble is, he's very rare. I have been in Mons Letalis all week and have not seen him, even with many people in my groups tracking for him. I'm going to *guess* that any ADULT rockhopper is a PH for him, but it could be a MATURE rockhopper as well. Probably the best thing to do is to pull both.
In case he is not a roamer, I've heard people say that he spawns in the NW part of the zone. I myself cannot confirm any of the above info, since I haven't seen the Mighty myself.

Most of this is at the Quests/Luclin Armour page about 3/4 of the way down, but I'll copy it here.
1) Jewels are random drops off some mobs. I got them about 1/100 zelniak kills in Dawnshroud Peaks. I believe others drop them also.
2) Scarlet Desert, Tranquil Bloodtribe Hero
3) Mons Letalis, Mighty Rockhopper
4) Dawnshroud Peaks, Steel Stonegrabber

moon jewls seem to drop of any zeln*thingeys* in dawn
but it seems to be very rare...but its not off a named pop... just any old zeln

i've gotten about 6 moon jewels off of the shrooms in dawnshroud, going from lvl 30-33 there. Since they're lore i generally /ooc that they're free to loot for anyone that wants.. just hang around dawnshroud on stormhammer while i'm there =)

A friend and I are starting to do the monk and warrior quests in twilight. I am a lvl 48 monk and he is a 43 warrior. Is there any chance that the two of would be able to get all the items with out a group?

It would be tough for just the two of you, especially with no healer. For instance the steel rock grabber can hit for 100+ and is fast. And the stuff in Mons Letalis is very nasty as well. I personally think the level to do the quests should be listed at 50+.

Solo doing these quests is practically impossible. I think they were made to be done by GROUPS in the mid thirties / low forties, as this is when i did mine, i got MAD exp and have A LOT of items needed for twilight gear. plus you most likely wont find a lot of the mobs unless you have the killing power of a groupm solo and Duo these are nearly impossible quests.

Does anyone have the stats on the Tunic yet. I have yet to see one on Bertox.
Jewels drop extremely rarely off any mob in the zones that have mobs that drop pieces for the quests.

Does this mob spawn or wander through a certain part of the zone? I camped in the area near the Gray for hours with no sign of him.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHERE SHARPENED ROCK HOPPER CLAWS DROP.. I WOULD THINK OFF OF ANY HOPPER BUT KNOWING WITH MY LUCK ITS A NAME HOPPER THAT I WILL NEVER FIND... BUT IF SOMEONE KNOWS POST IT UP I NEED TO KNOW ...LVL 52MONK STILL IN LEATHER
