Was in the Neh`Ashiir room and had just killed Neh`Ashiir when this guy wandered in, up, and aggroed. Spawned an 8 chain of Black Reavers and then Lord Ghiosk who dropped all 3 Shaman epic books. Lvl 70 dru and merc, spammed barkspur when it was up though the reavers, then dotted Ghiosk and nuked a couple times. Finished with prolly 70% mana. 2/19/18

Figured I'd add info in case others, like me, didn't know or if it's new.
It attacked me near the beginning of the zone. Solo'ed with 40 rogue and J1 tank mercenary. Mostly ornate defiant armor, so nothing too special these days. It ran at 20%, and spawned a black reaver when died. Which is how I learned that black reavers can spawn more when killed. Luckily my tank merc had enough hp for me to get Origin AA off during the second black reaver spawn.
Dropped both the orb and spectral blade.

Name has been changed as of the 2/15/2017 Kunark Quest update, "a mist reaver" is now simply "Mist Reaver". He is also now dropping a couple "new" quest items.

Can be casted on just did CoM last week and this was up. Same area as black reaver. Pulled and easly killed but after 1 spawn poped Ghiosk instead of multiple maby we just had a fluxe or maby he always spawns after 1 not sure. Dropped a crap weapon like 12 30 3dex or something. Not sure if can be slowed as the fight lasted about 10seconds and dident think of slowing at first. Does he drop Jade Reaver as well?

Had the exact same experience last night. Had replaced the typical black reaver spawn in the throneroom, did not chain pop, was not magic resistant, dropped the same no drop weapon.
