We went after him yesterday and he now has a DOT stinging swarm spell (first I'd seen it) - very nasty spell but only stays for a short time. If you are low on health when you attack watch out.
Killed him twice yesterday with my 37 ranger. Very easy to kill with no adds from mushrooms. Just walked up to him and BLAM! As for his drops, I haven't got the crown yet but got some no rent Mutant Finger Bones. Anyone know what they are for?

Probably the best, and a pile of fun to play. Unless you have UBER weapons and serious haste items, Iwouldn't try to solo much. 29 Rogue- BS over 140 now.

I killed this guy 6 times with my 29 warrior! he is pretty easy, but there is a method to it... stay left, and pull the shrooms first to the center of the room ( by backing up) and kill them first, after that, he is an easy kill.... killed him 6 times, and once he fell through wall, and once dident drop helmut so..... thats my opinion.

Before fighting this guy, debuff him! With my 40th level rogue, I had a tough time with this guy. Although, he does just con green. He has a nasty damage sheild, and usually his pet shrooms jump in as well (3 usually, with a DS as well). With a fast attackin monk or rogue, ya kill yourself just from the damage shield... bring Pumice stones!
htis could be wrong but when i fought the mobs here about half the time they have DS regardless of which mob it was i think that the preacher or cynthia signseer or whatever her name is is putting the DS on the mobs so sometimes they have and sometimes not

how often does he drop the crown? and can a 43 rogue solo this guy? nevermind, dumb question...rogues can solo anything.... ; )
