One in about a hundred seem to drop a Puma Skin, the rest of the time they may have a ruined cat pelt or a chunk of inedible meat worth 7 copper at the NPC merchant. All in all a truly hateful animal that I loathe when it buddies up with the orcs and slashes you for damage when you're killing the troopers. A real PEST of a mob! I kill them just for the sake of it even though they don't give XP anymore. Just my 2cp.

well snow leporeds r blue to me and i'am 10 so i think it should be 7-10
The min level of 7 and the max level of 9 is the estimated level that a snow leopard can be, not the min/max level of the character that should fight them. In other words, if you're level 10 and they con'ed blue to you, then the 7/9 scale was working perfectly.

These cats can arggo and attack through stone walls. Very annoying, especially when you are about to kill them and they walk away through the wall! PI$$ed me off.

Every once in a while, I get one that cons blue to me at Level 13. I think the upper level is more like Level 12.
Not really - level 10 should still con blue to a level 13 character.
If you go over towards the Permafrost zone, there's grass like tundra. Not every cold place has to have snow cover ;)

Not commonly hunted in everfrost, their HQ pelts are actually listed as Puma Skins. They are worth several gold to some tailors. The only time they are actively hunted, is when no Orc Troopers can be found.

They're not actively hunted by whom? I hunt them all the time for their pelts. They hunt me because they seem to like to.
