I have no idea how long his respawn is, but I know the 2021 patch notes said "Venril Sathir's remains will spawn every 20 hours instead of just over 26 hours." This is not true as written. Maybe they meant 20 hours after Venril Sathir is killed? I don't know. But I do know that I personally witnessed someone doing the turn in to spawn the triggered version of VS at 8:46pm, if it spawns every 20 hours, then the next spawn should be 4:46pm the next day. He did not spawn around that time. I stayed logged in a feigned so I would be able to check logs and see if he spawned early, if someone else came and killed him, but nobody did. It has now been 21 hours and he has not spawned. So the patch notes are for sure incorrect.
The normal version of Venril Sathir was killed at 1:02pm, so if VSR spawns 20 hours after VS is killed, I'll check again at 9am, but he definitely does not spawn "every 20 hours".

Just used agent of change because he have been killed so i killed real VS and was waiting for VS remain but it seems nothing repop from Agent of change instance. More than 35 minutes, 0 repop in VS room...
no he does not spawn in AoC instances.

Killed VS last night at 4PM CST. VSR was up when I logged into today, but some farmer, named Klitty, killed him at 7:45ish AM CST. VSR respawned at 9:46 PM CST on the Bristlebane server.

he spawned almost exactly 2 hours after i killed vs. 19:50:14 kill time. remains walked out in to the big room at 21:48:58 i didnt see him spawn but i doubt it had been more then 1-2 minutes sense i last checked tracking

bristlebane server. i killed regular venril at 12pm midnight and waited and remains spawned at 930am did my turn ins and killed triggered venril. thats about 9.5 hours start to finish 4/10/22

I killed Venril Sathir at 4:51pm EST on 12/11/21 and by 7:00pm EST the remains were up so not sure if this is a buff to respawn timers on name's during frostfell "havent gotten a notice from daybreak on that when i log in", but it is definitely lower then even 16 hours, i stayed logged in the entire time. Please update your timers and fact check this. hate coming to this site to see far outdated information.
"outdated information" you do realize 20 hours was pulled right from the official patch notes from Feb 17th 2021? don't get your panties in a bunch and blame Zam when this is completely out of their control. maybe make a post on the official forums instead and complain that he is spawning sooner than he should, lul

Lul, only time this sites gets updated is when someone comments on something, i was merely implying someone needs to fact check stuff, just because a patch says something from 10 months ago it could have changed since then you do know devs make changes and not always in the notes right? To each there own tho was just stating my encounter with this :), no need to get hostile young one, just a game

If someone wants to camp this mob for 16+ hours and fact check, go ahead and report here and let us know what the respawn was and what server it was on and we'll update it.

I got him within 16 hours after going thru the placeholders. Killed at about 12pm, and he was up around 6am, so maybe even less than :)

The VS that spawns from VSR has 18.5k hps and DOES NOT lifetap, super easy fight. Just killed as lvl 60 RNG with a healer merc, only wearing defiant gear and no AAs
He can do his regular life tap but it's very infrequent. You likely killed him before he procced.

Venril Sathir spawns in the east room.

- Go straight down the main hallway.
- Turn left at the statue.
- Take the stairs up in this room.
- Continue, right at the fork.
- Continue straight, taking the next right after the door.
- Do not go down. Veer right then continue straight into the rectangular room at the end.
Venril Sathir spawns in the east room.

On TLP servers, the Venril Sathir spawned from this mob did not have MOTM. Took him down with 60 pal, 60 mage, 60 druid, 49 ench, 48 ranger, 48 cleric. All boxed with group gear. I didn't even slow him because I never bought a slow on the enchanter box, haha (the lower level characters were alts). Was easy without it but would have been total cake with it.
He still does proc the 1500 lifetap but very rarely. I think he did it twice for the entire fight.

Got VSR sometime between 11pm CST and 5am CST on Bristlebane - The Tribunal. I had been camping him on and off the previous day from about 10am on so I can roughly confirm the 12-ish hour spawn time and can definitely confirm it wasn't linked to the death of the "true" VS in the room behind where the remains spawn. Left my character logged in KC in the remains room and checked back periodically and saw no one else had been around to snag him. Anyway, I woke up early this morning and viola! He was wandering around. Gave him the globe, buffed up me and my merc, gave him the scroll and it was on!
I am a F2P so I was molo'ing with an App II merc. I am a level 60 Ranger with 60 some odd AAs, mostly defiant gear and the tank merc. The fight lasted a little longer than a minute. Let the merc tank while I tried to stack DoTs and then burned with the Trueshot Disc. That got VS to about 15%. After about a minute the merc went down and I finished off with melee. Wasn't too tough actually, just a long camp. Just wanted to offer a little hope to anyone trying to solo (or molo) their epic. My biggest hang up so far is the darn Jade Reaver! I suppose I could spend a day or two farming Seb to get the plat for one, but I'd rather camp it myself. Hard to do with the app merc. Oh well. Good luck to anyone else giving this a shot!
I should have mentioned that I killed him at 5:30am CST.

So, VSR doesn't seem to correlate to the death of VS anymore. Camped on and off for 3 weeks, timing was never the same and almost always random. The spawn of VSR doesn't seem to have anything to do with the timing of the death of VS.

My fiance and I have waited months to finish this part of our epic (we're both druids). We're bound outside of KC, so that we can gate and run in. The thing is, VSR is never up. The one time he was up, we got so excited and forgot the turn in. We never know who killed him or when, so we can never time the spawn right.

just a short story and some info;
i got to karnors and found VSR was UP on tracking, and nobody in karnors, this is my rare opportunity. i decided to ask my guild if anyone wanted to come babysit me on my epic, i didnt want to risk ******** it up. i got a lvl100 pally and a lvl100 wiz to volunteer =D odds looking highly in my favor i'd say. i didnt know the way to vsr, but they did, so they led... we located VSR, at which point the pally opened a can of whoopass and put him in the ground with one swing. i guess i forgot to mention i needed to do a turn-in first... =/ i decided since i was there, i would just camp, play another toon, and check back in every so often.
next evening, i logged in to find VSR heavily camped. o well. i log and play another toon. a couple hours later im bout ready to call it a night, but decide to check VSR one last time... and hes UP! and im standing right in front of him. extremely lucky me, its night time and i immediately summon a globe.
i decide to molo it- the triggered version of VS is very easily moloable for 65 ranger. conned light blue and acted that way too. no lifetaps. he never cast a spell and i dont believe i was summoned either. tank merc had DS on and somehow got down to 75% health. i put dots on VS and then trueshotted with featherwood bow/ethernere arrow, got a couple crits for 2k. fight lasted maybe 45 seconds.

I know I'm necro-posting badly here but I couldn't resist responding to this. You handle this real well lol. The pally kills the mob you've been waiting on before you can do the turn-in and you're fine waiting 12 hours for a redo. LOL. Of course, maybe it's your mistake not to warn your assistants of the steps required. I know it's easy to get excited and distracted when a key part of a quest turns up and easy to forget requirements. But I can just imagine your reaction when he killed the mob with one swing. This is why when I help low levels with epics I try to let them do every step just to avoid this kind of problem. I even worry about a mob dying instantly on damage shields, in which case they might poof and not even drop their loot.

Killed VS last night at 11:30 p.m. EST, waited until about 9 a.m. with no luck. I went to sleep and got back on about 5 p.m. It is now about 2 am the next day and still haven't seen a spawn. I'm assuming his spawn timer has been changed to 12 hours, and someone killed him while I was sleeping, or it's now longer than 24 hours.
****Update*** It spawned after about 32+ hours, I logged in the next day at about 5pm to find it walking around.

He's spawned a solid 24 hours after I killed Venril Sathir. More like 24h 30m.

I was camping with my monk FD.
VSR started to cast a spell on 8/8 2:43am
VSR last time he cast a spell was 8/8 7:20am.
Either he despawned or got killed. I did see other players casting spells at that time.
I came back the next day and:
VSR started to cast a spell on 8/9 8:33am.
I had my druid turn in the globe --> Spirit spawned --> Turned in the spell --> VS spawned
Pretty easy fight with 65 druid (did nothing), 65 beastlord (auto attack), 65 monk (auto attack). Fight lasted about 50 seconds. Most of the damage was done by Tank and DPS Mercs.
The time between VSR spawns was 24 hours and 13 minutes.
