I handed him the monocle and he said his little sentence and told me here is some ore.........either the ore is invisible or i'm blind cause i don't see it in any of my bags, hopefully SoE pulls through with petition.......

Can you get to him with Invis on and hand him the giant sized monocle invisible? I am looking to get there without having to kill all the other giants.

He has an insane regen rate. After kiting him around for 3-4 min with my 49 necro I ran out of mana. I had to FD to clear agro as I had kept 4 dots on him. Once he ate my pet I sat and watched as he regened 1-2%hp per tick with ignite blood still on him (56 damage per tick). I don't know if he has a lot of hp or just a hell of a regen rate. I'm gonna med up and try again.

He conned indifferent to me, and I have killed a lot of giants before. He is located deep in the cave inside the giant fort. There are no turns in this tunnel to get lost.

wow hes hard, i was oom and down to 30% hps before he died. got 8k + hps
was fun fight tho, crapy exp and no loot.

thought i'd investigate today just since i've never been down there before. anyways took eldrak or whatever his mate is out, he was tough then after a full med and buff session i pulled him, well got him down to 45% then got an add on me who was taking for too many hps, had to run for it but would have otherwise been ok.
guess level is around 54 BL or Enc and 55-56 for others since my pet hardly got hit by him.

I am not positive, but I do believe that this NPC is indifferent to everyone, whether you kill mountain giants or not. I have never conned him, that I know of, but a long time ago, while I was killing giants right outside the FM fort, there was a short giant, very red to me, that responded funny when I hailed him. He was indifferent, and I was told he was for the Warrior epic, so it might be this guy. He did not assist the other giants standing by him while I attacked them. Therefore I do not believe he is on the giant faction, or that killing giants hurts your ability to do the Warrior epic.

Does anybody know where to get Faction for the Kromdek (giants). I slew quite a few giants earlier in life, and later found out that I would need the faction to do my Epic (duh). Ok the hard part. Where does Kromdek faction improve?? hes KOS to me now, and I dont know if I can trade with him. (didnt feel like getting killed trying to)Anyway, if somebody knows, Please respond!

This guy is the one we warriors have to give monocle to from Mtn giant Patriarch in DL
Who cares if someone kills him? You're acting like he's on a week long spawn timer. He's on a 30 minute timer tops, I'd estimate. Go complain about people killing the tainted baracuda or something, not this guy. :P

To clarify a few things no matter what the NPC is there for if he gives EXP even if no loot someone will kill it for the exp, and yes thre are those that will kill NPCs to see if the loot is any good only to see nothing drop. Quest NPCs sometimes do drop items coing similar some do not it is just the way the game works you kill for exp and loot.

I was running around in FM with my brothers monk today, i was looking into each cave to see if any fun stuff was happing, even i got down to this fella, i coned him indiff (Iksar) so i doubt that he will jump any visitors, btw his brother was down there too.. same con indiff both blue to a 52 monk

I really wish people like this were banned from using Allakhazam's website, although that is somewhat tough to do. Why are people so immature, eh well, I guess there will always be children playing this game with their parent's credit cards.

I am sorry but I think tha tis a valid thought. Every mob is going to get killed in this game and that is how we find out if they drop some U3er l33t. I did not know before reading this post now what he was for and I may have killed him too. I know that epic folks have no cool drops unless deemed by the quest but if I didnt know then I would just drop him with out thinking twice.

The reason he drops nothing is that he is part of the warrior epic weapon quest.

He should be indiferent to everyone so don't worry about killing Giants in FM or DL. Hes in the giant fort in FM at the bottom of a mine shaft. He may seem a ways down but hes there. Try not to aggro too many things as you run down so that you can trade easily. Hope this helps a bit.

Anyone know if you kill the giants in the fort if you will become KOS to him? I am a warrior working on epic and relized too late that I need to be able to talk to him but I have slaughtered many giants in the fort in my younger days.Havent been over to see how he cons yet.

He is a Quest NPC why kill him? If he doesnt drop anything good and is a pain to kill, let him live for those doing thier warrior epic.
