Hey all, just wanted to drop by and say i just started my clerics 1.0 today. Figured i would get the camping areas out of the way first. Ran into Skyfire, pulled a huge train and got 2 shards right off the bat. I logged for dinner, and when i logged back in pulled another train, and BAM got 2 more shards! What luck! Went to Lake Rathe and camped Lord Bergurgle. camped him for about an hour and he spawned, grabbed crown and headed my ranger off to SolA while i level my cleric. Currently leveling cleric and waiting in SolA for spawn on Lord Gimblox.

Camped the shammy for about a hour and a half, came back the next day and Gimblox was chilling in his room :)

I can see having to wait some for an epic spawn but this is ridiculous. Six hours a day for three days. Lost count of the number of PHs. Not a good way to keep your paying customers, SOE.
Edit to add: And still no Lord Gimblox.

camped him with wife for her cleric on the rathe. the 18th hour or 54th spawn cycle he died a swift death and the ring was hers.
Only took me the better part of a Sunday, about 20+ PHs.
Didnt stay the whole time straight thru, left and went back because it's just TOO boring.
When you realize that SOE gets paid by the MONTH, you will know why they do stuff like this to their paying customers. And it ain't to "enhance your gaming experience".
Then again, we are the saps that pay for this and love it. Sorta like a dom sub relationship : /

welp this is guna make all you mad as crap... started my clrs epic 2 days ago.. so far with in 9 hours total time i have killed B in lake rathe and got gimblox today all with in 3 hours for each guess im very lucky WELP off to the races.... hope the fragments goes this well.....Peace.... O and use the directions on this area hes will pop in that room...
Good luck man. I remember those shards taking FOREVER. I was camped out in Skyfire for what seemed to be an eternity (little bit every day for about a week I think). It was back in 2003 or so, so it's a little hazy.

Started my epic today, Lord Berguler took me 12 freakin hours to spawn, i thought id just quit... Then i finally got it, then someone told me Lord Gimblox was just as rare or more.. So i figured great this is gunna be impossible.. Took me 30mins to find the darn room, once i found it i saw the PH a large goblin.. killed him and ran around killing until he spawned again, second time it was the shammy... Did same thing ran around killed, then sure enough 3rd go around, lord him self spawned, got ring.. That was so easy, its just to show.. You get screwed over, then you get lucky!

Not for me, every single quest I've ever done has been a marathon of patience. I quit back in 2006 because I got sick of it, but came back two months ago, and now find myself reliving all the time sinks once again. Getting very close to hitting the cancel button.....

Location of the mob is NEG 795 NEG 365. There are NO + locations in Solusek A. I did a /loc as he died, this is what I got. The little box says one thing, the above says a second. I am confirming the actual. Thanks.

I have been camping this dude for over 17+ hours STRAIGHT so far and he hasn't spawned =( .... I'm in the room with a small pit in middle and a bed above it with dirty looking pillows, beside the bed is a table with a keg on it. I have seen dozens of large fire goblins and shamans. I keep reading these are ph's but i'm not too sure if someone could confirm spot it would be awesome.

just when i thought that camping the first goblin lord for 4 or 5 hours was bad i forget. i come to this one camped it so far for 8 hours and will be going back tomorrow for more oh joy i just want my 1.0 why cant the goblins be nice and work with me here

Took me 10 straight hours to spawn 2 Lords (for 2 clerics). 1st popped after 3 hours, 2nd after another 7 hours of camping.

Just wanted to share my story on this camp as it had an interesting twist. I was camping this guy for about the 13th time ( I do this quest alot for guild clerics ). I had dodged many bullets before and never had to camp him for more then 3 hours to get him to spawn, but this time my luck ran out. On my third day of this marathon I had gotten up early and started killing PH's , after about 10 and half hours I took a break to go out to dinner. When I returned few hours later, I was relieved ( after checking my logs )to find that nobody had been there so I started killing PH's again. After another couple hours Sleep and Drink got the best of me and I feel asleep ( was a little after 11 im guessing). Dont worry this has a happy ending. At 11:28 the PH spawned... I was still fast asleep...... I woke up at aroun 1:15 AM, to find Lord Gimblax beating on me, I squashed him and took his rign. Now for the twist... out of curiosity I checked my logs to see how long he had been beating on me. To my shock the mob that had spawned at 11:28 was just that a PH. My logs showed that the PH had beat on me for exactly 58 mins when a cleric named Turrett showed up. With no regard to his own safty he jumped to my unconcious aid ,and killed the ph at 12:58pm. He must have left sometime after that , and Lord Gimblax had spawned next , he had only been hitting me for about 7 mins. Turrett could have stayed and taken my camp and I would not have known till I checked the logs, but he didnt , Thank you Turrett , whoever you are, cant wait till I find you to thank you in person. Just to sum up this story , the PH he killed was approximitly # 55. For those that are not familier with camp , ph spawns every 19 mins, which for those without calculators is just over 17 hours. I hope my luck returns and I never have to do a long camp like that again. GL

For all those who managed to complet this camp in less than a day, well done and "bah! you lucky sods". I have camped this for about 50 hours in total over the last week so far, made about 1500PP just in cash off corpses and have ported back and forth to empty loot so many times that I now suffer from motion sickness! lol.
I was too busy enjoying the game and didn't even think to do my epic till i hit lvl 67 but that was a mistake. Don't be tempted to do your Epic 1 after the mobs become grey. No xp/aa and so far, no pop.
My best advice; Set up an audio trigger on the word Lord, grab an epic book (Lord of the Rings, War and Peace, etc) and settle down for a weeks wait.
IMHO I believe SOE set these quests up as a reward for all players with 2 accounts as they can camp and play too. TYVM SOE! Bah.
I shall carry on paying Council Tax for my new place of residence in SolA for the forseeable future. lmao

Been camping this for a long time killed the <Large Fire Goblin> or <Shaman> 59 Times straight no spawn, Im at right loc and in the described room grr i hate EQ
took me 39 hours to get this jerk, thats almost 120 pops.

Been waiting like 5 hours no spawn =( You know I bet the people that get it popped right away come in after someone has been camping for awhile. Wish I coulda been so lucky one more pop for ph then im sleeping.
The room looks exactly as described.
Pit with stairs, bed with leporad print.
On your map it is in the nw corner and the room kinda looks like a hat and it has a lower section that lays over it

I got this guy to spawn in just like one hour lol.
it takes over 3 hours, :
1 hour yesterday.
2 hours today.
You need a class with pet, sit down on loc, pet autoattack when they hit you.
Stay afk and check the corpse every 20 mins or so.
U can play playstation 3 ( like me :D ) waiting pop.
I think Skyfire camp is much hard than this guys.

Ok it was not as longas some of you post but suspect some of us are not in the right spot. I had never done camp so i came here looking for where it was. The loc is pretty on. The description of the room is more useful to me in combination to the loc. There one bed in the room at head of room with what look like dirty pillows. There are two couches on other sides of room and a table with a barrle on it . Middle of room is depressed and you have stairs down it. Room it self is small and not very spacy, shaman is ph or a large goblin or something did spaun for 4 or 5 hours. The king spauns very near lord room . So Good luck follow the locs at top of page and description of room . Grats to my friend Nilyenea cleric of the Rath, we on way to getting that click done .

yep.. patience is the key here people. First day i spend 11 hours and no spawn. Used "Audio Trigger" for the word "Lord" and parked my cleric right where he spawns. Second day, 4th hour into killing PHs and pathers he finally spawned. 2 nukes of Judgment and he was down. Got ring. Yay!
