Jade mace blows old man balls. KD is 14 28...same ratio and much cheaper. And if you really want faster dly and don't care about ratio why not wu's?

Umm...monk epic is 9/16. And the song is a 40% haste which does NOT bring it to 9/9.
Correction:

None = 0% (9 dmg 16 dly)
Right Click Effect of Celestial Fists = 40% (9 dmg 13 dly)
With right click + FBSS = 61% (9 dmg 11 dly)
With right click + CoF = 76% (9 dmg 10 dly)
Max Item + Max Enchanter Haste = 85% (9 dmg 9 dly)
So as you see you are both right, but not clear on your details

He is a ranger type. Can SOW himself, has low-duration root, weak DD, weak DOT, DS, but doesn't seem to cast snare.
He spawns in the NORTHWEST corner close to the entrance to the temple of Droga.
He wanders. If you take too long to get to him after making him spawn (from SW corner) he will sometimes run into a goblin or two and get himself killed.
Whip is rare. Don't expect to get it on the first kill.
He himself is not that rare if you're doing the right cycle. I had him spawn 5 times in a night (no whip.)
Just be aware that there are TWO cycles in FM. One with goblins and one without. If you are after the drake tamer and are doing the cycle by killing goblins then you are doing the WRONG CYCLE. While doing the 2nd cycle you'll only ever get brutes in the SE corner, and no goblins. The only giant I've seen appear on the 2nd cycle is Miner Bordakn in the SW corner. If you can only seem to find spawns for the main (goblin) cycle then try killing sarnak dragoons in the NW corner. That seems to be where it stalls most.

The fastest weapon was dropped in the Plane of Growth and it was 3 damgage 8 delay, and was also a twig, but I forgot the name... And wu's trance stick is 7 18 and 5k and VERY NICE with the 92DD effect...

This guy did drop that Barbed Scale Whip, which was indeed 4 damage 11 delay and +3 str, and then like the mosscovered twig, they made it to where it does not drop anymore cause it was just way too fast, and replaced it with a weapon that is a lot slower. The new weapon, the Scale Hide Whip, has two times the delay of the Barbed Scale Whip, and two times the damage also, but without the +3 str. The slowness of this new thing kinna takes the fun out of it though, because the old whip this draketamer used to drop was uber. I think i still have it in the bank, and when i first got it and had my CoF and mosscovered twig in the offhand, i filled up the screen with wussy little attacks, but there were so many of them that i was able to dish out a fair amount of damage. Only problem with these is that they are not fun to fight with if you attack a mob with a damage shield before you disspell it. I also think that both the BSW and MCT were changed to offhand only now =(, so you can only use one incredibly fast weapon at a time. There are others now though that have delays of 16 or so, and that one ranger whip that has been around forever that has 14 delay. I killed this guy once while in the zone recently and got nothing but like a few gold and silver.

I killed him today as a lvl 51 ranger and got xp off him...i would guess level 36-37. He was doubling for 70s. Didn't drop the whip.

I killed him the other day.. he wonders around the NW corner of the Zone and he is a Ranger class. He doesn't cast that often but when he does he uses Ignite, stinging swarm and root. I say ranger not druid because he would be nuking for more than the ignite's 37 damage if he was a druid. However he does hit hard and fast hitting my lvl 40 ranger for in the 80's sometimes. I got just a few plat off of him ... no whip.

When i saw the spawn last night he was way out behind the giant fort... he wandered around back there you hafta have a tracker from what i can tell. Me being a level 48 ranger had no problem tracking him. When i killed him i had no idea of his level and finished him off with one of my Raincaller charges LOL. I thought because of his dmg sheild he was a druid and was going to heal himself this did not happen though. Good Luck finding this guy again, its really dangerous where he wanders. ~No Loot this time

He is very resitant to ice based spells, Stick with fire or lightning. he didn't drop for me so it may be a rare drop. he had some sarnak blood instead. I ahve only seen him once in 2 weeks of doing the cycle for a few hours each day. He is a NW corner spawn

He drops something like a scaled whip, 8 dam 22 dly...I wanna know where he spawns and possibly the chances on getting the whip. And no, its not the fastest weapon in the game :P Moss covered twig is, 3 dam 10 dly hehe

Twig is but not dropped any more so hehe better save up for the Jade mace 9/18 15k drops in Karnors off Drovlarg Capt. hehe I got mine.

not even close heh...there are a few faster
and alot that are better
take the dwarven sap for instance 8dmg 20 dly, alot of monk weapons, the twig, blackjack blackjack i think is alot faster, quite a few

Well lets see, the damage/delay is better than EBW or Blackjack
Blackjack is also worth 1kpp or so
Ebw can go for up to 2k (fangs etc)
This is a great weapon and I would love it.
And who ever thinks this weapon sucks needs to have their head checked and then ask their mother and father to use a condom the next time they have sex.
