I Hunt them with my lvl 17 monk with KD/CoT when im not FD pulling explorer's in LOIO they give me like 25% 50 % blue of exp NO joke i have full set of wu's no rings earing and an explorer's locket for neck slot +3 wis +3 dex+3 agi Drop's off lead explorer's ill killl greater scalebones while in LOIO by explorer's tower. medding or if i see one with out FD pull i get 3 exploer's the scale bones highest hit on me is 35 dmg and mayebe a parry/block/dodge most the time pretty tuff i can solo 4 and come out with 145 HP my 54 dru friend help's me alot buff's i kill them over yelow's NICE exp on the side whil kill FV trash out the explorer's tower:) hope i helped:)

a lv 3, and 2 lv 6s CANNOT take one of these, even if they are twinked, its just to low, maybe you mean the normal scalebones, these are GREATER scalebones

Group hunting easy with these. 3 level 6 necro and 1 level 6 monk. Lifetapp, Darkness and let the pet tank till dead.

MY LVL 8 MONK CAN SOLO THESE.
he's a buffed twink i think cuz my lvl 7 ranger twink soloed this unbuffed. At that lvl it hits like it wants to kill you. lol...

these things are not that hard to kill.a group of a warrior,shaman, and and a monk lvles 10-11 could take one .i am lvl 15 and can solo them.

My group and I were pulling Greater Skeles when our warrior tank brought one of these baby's in. We killed him in about 30 minutes, and only my pet and one of our healer shamans died! Before I say the stoy, let me give you the classes and levels first; Necro=5, monk=4, warrior=6, warrior=6, shaman=6, shaman=5.
First we had one of our warriors pull this thing. It went after our shaman when he healed him. The shaman died. Then we tanked our way. YAY!

Great exp in the tower, still getting about a 10th - 15th bub from em at lev 17. Watch the dmg tho. These guys have a nasty tendancy to block / parry/ dodge / riposte and can double and triple attack. My ac was round 250 and a blue one took my 400+ hp down to 70 because he triple hit me for up to 33 dmg each, plus stuns. Tough, but great exp

at 17 a monk should have much more than 250 ac, by the way. At 15 my monk has 263 without full suit of raw silk, still have spaces open.

Some of these in the FOB con blue to a lvl 21 mage. Not tough with a pet, but I wasn't expecting it.

The dagger that casts posion bolt, is the scorpion telson, which is dropped by the hearsting scorpions which are in the field of bones. I think there are two kinds of telsons, becuase i have gotten some that cast poison bolt, and some that dont cast poison bolt.

I was fighting one of these things in kurn's with my guild friends and it dropped a cracked femur,if anyone knows what for please tell me

Well if you need another weapon when you get duel wield or somthing then use it!!!
