This named seemed to be up every time I zoned in while doing the Hunter Achievement for this zone. Then after awhile that stopped. Maybe just random luck. But it got to the point where I was thinking this is a named with no placeholder who spawns every time. Not the case.

Mezz is Frontal, Turn mob around or have ur group /healer hide on other side of wall or run behind named. you should not get hit with mezz... killed him plently of times like this

He spawned for me in the third and fourth and fifth alcoves from the ZL. Out of 3 kills i got both rings 1 pants and 1 embellished head along with 2 spell cantrips .
best way to kill him is from a distance if your using a mecr tank try to get out of his range to cast on you and healers can just hide behind a wall. that makes him an
easy target to kill just a long fight like the rest of VoA named are. 95 SK / 95 necro / 95 shammy / merc healer /merc tank / merc healer

This Pita mob dropped the chest (( https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=99410 ))
(((95cleric,95monk,95,bard,95wiz with tank&heal mercis my team of characters)))i found him up in 3rd tunnel/branch down. Tried 3 times to pull him up to zin, once with heal ward to no avail.second time in the first tunnel/branch to only wipe again. Then i decided to try and tank him in #1 tunnel while healing from #2 and that was the 3rd wipe to him. I then decided to leave my cleric up top at the zin then move rest down to the outside of his tunnel. Monk mezzed trash mob next to him and pulled him out to path and up against the center wall. While keeping wiz back a bit but still in los(line of sight) i just auto attacked with bard and monk and nuked with wizard in between being mezzed all while spam healing with my cleric. During the whole fight i had to keep a HoT +promissed on tank merc while spamming spot heals also. That seemed to work as my cleric never got hit with that HUGE ae mezz the next 3 or 4 times i killed him.

Tough little mob. Seems like it mem blurs. Dunno if it does, but it was bouncing agro pretty good. That mana drain sucks, too.
You can line of site its drain, tho.
