Anti Camp Script. back in 99 when i camped her i heard of it and thought was crazy. spent 2-3 hours no luck. friend told me what to do:

This might be true, but I doubt it. The reason for this is because of the way I camped her. I was having to camp and then come back about 30 mins later. Out of 7 kills, I have only gotten her once and then she only dropped the book.
Shame they have to make an epic drop mob in a place EVERYONE wants to go just to make a buck. The FBR should be made NO TRADE and I would be much happier.

I was just there last weekend getting the robe. It was really late and I believe she spawns every three or four hours. You know she is in her room because as you move around the dungeon to get the keys, you can see messages that say, "Najena casts a spell".
When you enter the room, she will be on the opposite side of the room from the door. She is flanked by two Magicians. If she pops while you are in the room, if you are quick, you can kill her and her two lessers before they have a chance to cast their pets.
I am not sure on the pop rate for the other lesser mobs in the dungeon that carry the keys.

If Najena is up and you really want to get inside without the key, you must have access to Eye of Zomm and a pet. Walk up to the door, cast Eye of Zomm, which will be on the other side, target her and get rid of eye, tell pet to attack and back her up to the door. Let the pet kill her, then use Eye of Zomm again, target her corpse, do /loot and she will have the key to get inside.

Najjy is magician. She conned blue for my 34 shammy... It all happened very fast. I was just wondering around aimlessly inside Najena, until I found the locked door behind the water pool (where the froglok ghoul swims at). Found a way to see inside by sitting when near the door, until something strange happened... Najena just aggroed me THROUGHT the door! She ran out and started to nuke me while her pet was kicking mah butt. I was oom, my pet was somewhere far far away, and didn't have an idea what was going on as it happened all of the sudden. Conned blue, and I could not possibly beat anything without mana, so I just ran to zone and she left me alone... Next day I came back with some guild fellas, but she wasn't there anymore... They couldn't track her, either.
Guess this is just another add for my "to-be-killed"-list. :)

My 35 Mage can solo here, so I imagine a Warrior could too. I'm guessing you're not 35 any more. 
You should be aware that this is a "keyed" dungeon and the keys are NOT soul-bound. The last two keys that lead to Najena are no-rent, so you have to kill the mobs that drop these keys every time, if you want to camp Najena.

Why does she have an entire zone named after her? Anyone have some history? Just because of the necro epic thingy?

She has the entire zone named after her because she's the head npc of the zone. This zone was in existance LONG before Epics were created. She used to be the highest level npc in zone and the Flowing Black Robe was much sought after. This was long before Robe of the Oracle and Shiny Metallic Robe became fashionable and the FBR was somewhere in the neighborhood of 500pp(which was a LOT of money at that time).
I miss the good ol' days too.

hmm... I must be lucky then.. went into room... killed fire elemental and both magicians , najena spawned next round and she dropped the book... I was after the robe... but first drop was book..

Was just your luck I guess, I ran up there for the hell of it waiting for some spawns, she was up, I killed her, and she dropped the book.
Strange luck, hehe... I went into Najena to get the robe, her supposed common drop, to give to my necro (I'm too poor to just go buy the thing!) and after she finally spawned, she didn't drop the robe... just the tome! Oh well, also a nice thing for my necro. Killed her the second time (waited another hour for her to spawn, all the other spawns were just more magicians and elementals) and she dropped the robe.

I have seen the post from the past couple of weeks but I was in Najena about a week ago for 3 nights. I camped each night for about 3 hours but didn't get Najena spawn once, PH elemental everytime. I know it's only 10 rotations per night but there should have been at least one spawn in 3 sets of 10 rotations.
I just started asking myself if they reduced the spawn percentage on Najena. I mean 0 out of 30 is pretty low. I'm going to try again this week sometime but it's a terrible waste of time to sit there for three hours and not get the mob you are camping.

Well,My mage is a just turned 46 and I wanted a FBR to travel in. Stats aren't that good. Anyway, the room was a breeze to break into and the mobs including Najena were a push over, Seriously I wouldn't want to to this at a lower level. I just wanted to say how easy this was. the only bad thing about this camp was waiting for it to spawn. Thanks Kartanis Darkencast,Level 46 Magician.

But seriously folks, I camped her for a couple hours and here's some info:
camp has 2 somewhat higher magicians (lower than Najena, but higher than most magicians) and Najena or her PH (an elemental) slighty less than 19 minutes respawn time 7 rounds yielded 5 PHs (elementals) and 2 Najenas 2 Najenas yielded 1 FBR and 1 Tome
Najena herself is a magician, which means you'll be facing a total of 6 MOBs, pets included. It's a tough room to break into alone unless they are green to you. However, if you have a good healer, a solid tank (preferably one which can interrupt spells), and a nuker, a 30ish group could probably do it fine. I soloed the room as a 41 paladin, but the room was an easy break since the PH was up instead of her. If Najena is up, she has been known to pounce on people before they can open the door. It's generally not a good idea to die inside her chamber since you'll need a key to fetch your body, so pull the fight outside if you think it's going to be close. Good luck, and remember to come back here and tell us your stories. This reminds me of another story...one time, at band camp...

Hi, Im a lvl 34 Iksar Monk and one of my rings (Ring of Above) just isn't good anymore and this ring is perfect so after i get my cougar claw earring which i have camped for about 4-5 hours but no luck, ill go down there and kill her and hoperfully, she'll drop it.

I have been in this dungeon for over 50 hours in total, camping in rotation Rathyl, Najena and occasionally Drezlna (or (hardcore) Webmistress with others !).
As a level 35 magician you can do any two of these complete spawn sets in solo with FM and DS'd focused earth pet. I would suggest that the xp is ok (they are all dark blue to me xcpt webmistress yellow) and the loot and cash is very good indeed. Gypsy and druid vendors nearby in lava...
The only problem is that I have been camping for the tome and Rathyl's 8 slot pack all this time with no success with either (and about 30 kills of each mob at least).
I think najena spawns about 1/3 of the time in all and rathyl about 1/2 the time instead of their PH's.
Magicians go to this zone ) - get your focus items, pages of mastery and xp, loot and a fun place to solo with your pet or group for faster rotation through dungeon...
If you are in solo, the best place bar none for getting focus items, pages of elemental mastery for epic and sellable / nice drops + ok xp at this level is rathyls room and surrounding area. Neighbouring darkbones and Rathyl's magician protectors drop a lot more focus stuff than anywhere else in dungeon plus you might get a pack / pouch / bracers / ekeros drop to sell to a monk )
If you sit and camp in one spot you are less likely to get any kind of decent drop in my experience, let the spawns pop and fully buff 1st for more chance I think. However, if you cant handle a whole room's worth on FM, then space out the kills when you first go in, they will pop with the same spacing ! Always get necro / magician protectors 1st cos when they pop again you can nuke them before they can buff / summon pets.
I just want the drops to come my way sometime :(

Yes... Najena, suprisingly enough... why the Najena faction exists when everyone starts out KOS to it and it's impossible to raise, I don't know... but killing almost any mob in this zone lowers Najena faction, including killing Najena herself.
That halfling and that high elf enchanter in the prison are among the few mobs in there not on Najena faction (they're on the same faction NPCs in their home cities would be).
Don't worry dark elves, killing anything in this zone won't lower faction with anybody in Neriak. (in fact, I believe kiiling the enchanter in the prison actually raises it!)

It's been awhile since I saw the Visiting Priestess who sometimes spawns in the Ogre Captain's room. However, if my memory serves me correctly, I believe she has ties to Neriak faction which might also seem logical given her name. If you are an inkie, just avoid killing her while near the Captain and you should be fine.

hi all,
I decided to go kill this little mistress after reading all the posts here and discovered that you cant always believe what you read. the key is necessary for camping this room. if you sit outside the door the magicians will agro but the elemental ph for najena will not. so you cann kill the mages all night long and never see her. the room is extremely easy to a 41 necro but the spawn is long. i am camping it as i type and i have seen 3 elementals and 1 najena so far. i think i should have just bought the tome. my pet takes out the room quickly i only help with najena. i hope this clears up the no key theory.
P.S. if you make a pet here it will stay here it will not follow you out of the water.. got me killed..
